What's happening?

Im confused

Ellie's Pov
My mum shouted lets go Ellie, as I walk past my room a tear rolled down my face I. I stopped and turn back and looked at my room one last time and then I heard my mum beep her horn so i walked out the front door. I got in the car and looked out my house one last time, as my mum drove of I waved to my old friend that lived next door to me I starred out of the window for hours.

We arrived at the front I looked around and saw a welcoming family waving to us. I didn't know them but they were friendly. We started to unpack the truck I started caring little boxes to my room it was still hard not to see my friend or my room I grew up in but we had to move.
It was my first night here the family I talked about earlier knocked on our door and gave us cookies, they looked really good but I was not in the mood, my bed was made but that was about it, I was a bit tired so I decided to go to bed. I woke up at about 3:40am and I heard a noise so I looked out the window and I saw the family holding a shovel and digging.but I thought farm,crops,seeds nothing bad
but still a little odd at that time in the morning so i went back to sleep.

I woke up with my name been called out by my mum and said breakfast is ready.i walked down the stairs with a confused look on my face thinking what happened last night I went to the table and sat down started to eat my breakfast and still thinking my mother looks at me and asks what's wrong?
