First off, let me just say how happy and totally blown away you all have made me with the responses to "Unfamiliar Territory" so far. It's still amazing to me how so many of you have simply taken the time to read it, let alone those who went above and beyond to vote and comment on so many of the chapters on top of that! You guys and gals are amazing. Seriously.
Now, let's cut right to the announcements, shall we?
So, as some of you know doubt have guessed and now the rest of you can infer by the attached picture, Book Two of the Unfamiliar series, entitled "Unfamiliar Faces" is on it's way soon! How soon? How about this coming Friday!
Yup, starting next week the next book in the series will begin and will be updating regularly every week, every Friday. Now, a few words of warning. Unlike the first book, "Unfamiliar Faces" is currently a work in progress as of November 11th, 2015. While I am a good ways in (and know where the story goes and how it ends) I am still a good ways from finishing it. Now, that doesn't mean I will be unable to update weekly. In fact, having a set schedule like this will push me to finish it sooner than I would have otherwise! Of course, if something were to occur and for one reason or another I won't be able to stick to the schedule, you guys will be the first to know. Though you can quote me now as saying I will do everything I can to stick to my weekly updates!
Also, as this is a work in progress, I will warn you now there may be a few grammar issues and maybe even a few plot or character inconsistencies here or there and I may even change up a few details if I feel it helps the story. While I hope to keep all of this to a minimum, if there are any changes I make I will, again, keep you guys in the loop. I want you all to enjoy reading this story just as much as I have been enjoying writing it!
Alright, now, for the second project I hinted last week that fans of the old Cartoon Network series, "Teen Titans", would take an interest in. As some of you have probably guessed, this second project is, in fact, a fan fiction story set in the universe of that series.
What some of you may not have guessed is that the story will be focusing on one of the least developed characters in the series, Kyd Wykkyd.
Now, in the spirit of being open and honest you all, I will say that this fan fiction story is available currently on the web and I will be open to providing links to those who wish to read it elsewhere. Though I will warn those curious that this story was first written many, many years ago by a younger me who did not know as much about writing as I do now. That being the case, I still feel the story is good enough to go through a severe editing process to bring it up to the standards you all may or may not have in regards to my writing.
Phew, okay, you guys got all that? Starting next week, every Wednesday will be a chapter for the Kyd Wykkyd fan fiction story, and every Friday will be a new chapter for Book Two of the Unfamiliar Series, "Unfamiliar Faces".
If any of you guys have any questions, or simply want to touch base with me, feel free to leave a comment here or send me a PM! I am also debating with creating a Twitter account next week to coincide with the launch of my next two projects. What do you guys think? Good idea? Bad idea? I'd love to hear yall's thoughts on these announcements, or anything else that leaves you forcing to face reality!
