Chapter 4

The day was slow and nothing really to do, it was blistering hot outside. This weather always made you want to go swimming, but yet you didn't wanna do any work. So of course being the dork i am i stayed inside and read, Harry Potter. I wasn’t really interested in the book, i just couldn’t get into them. Don’t get me wrong i loved the idea of Harry Potter, and i loved the movies, i just couldn’t get into the books. I sat in my room ocaunssly going down stairs to get something to eat or drink. Tomorrow would be my official first day at my new school. Ugh i can’t believe what has occurred in the past couple of weeks, i know i'm trying to forget about what happened but its hard to forget. When im with Kemper or Ren all the bad things go away, and im not thinking about that horrible day. I hope i can find other friend that could do that or this would be a very miserable few months. I alway had dreams about them, and i'm not going to go into detail because i’ll start crying. I refuse to cry right now, i’ve had enough of that. I looked out my window seeing that the sun was about to set. I locked myself in my room all day reading a book, when i probably could have been working on soccer skills, going for a run, or even decorating my room. I decided i could go for a run, and clear my head. I had a lot of things to think about. One of my pevs whenever i ran, no matter the weather, was that i always wear a sweat shirts. I put a pair of pink, black shorts that were mid-thigh length. I had a tank top underneath my black, batman sweater. I grabbed my ipod, putting it the little pouch i had for when i ran. I walked down stairs, music blasting through my earbuds. I walked into the kitchen, pouring some water into a glass, i swelled the water down. I left a note on the dining room table, for my aunt telling her that i was going for a run. I was about to walk out the front door, when i ran into a brick wall. Well at least thats what it felt like. It was sweet and smooth. I looked up from the ground, and saw Kemper shirtless and sweaty. I pulled one of my earbuds form my ear, “ Sorry i didn’t mean to run into. Help me up?” I gave him a giggle and a lazy smile.

He stretched his hand out for me to grab, he lifted me up into the air putting me back on my feet. “ Where you headed dressed like that, its like 98 degrees out.” He looked at my wardrobe, making a face that looked funny. My outfit wasn’t that bad was it? I mean of  course it was hot, but if you run in a sweat shirt you release more toxins. Plus you lose more wait. Sweaty is really good for you.

“ I’m going for a run, and the sweatshirt is just something a run in. I alway have to have one. It just... something i do.” I gave him a smile pushing past him, “ Now if you excuse me i have a run to get to.” I put the other earbud in my ear, running out to the road. When i started running off the property, i noticed all the shirtless boys in my new front yard giving me weird stares because of the sweatshirt. I rolled my eyes and continued my run. My feet pounding against the concert, making my leg mussles jiggle a little. My head was clear of all thoughts and was focused on the route ahead of me. I had no clue where i was going, all i know is that i had been running for 20 minutes now, and i wasn’t even getting started. I was drenched in sweat, as the blistering heart hit my black sweatshirt, absorbing the sunlight. I managed to get into the middle of town, there were people walking with little kids. A man held a door open for a couple of women, and a couple were holding hands walking across the street. Kids were playing at the park, and a family sat at the dinner. It looked like you pulled this town from one of those cheesy romantic movies. I never stopped running even through town. I made a u at the end of town and headed back to the house. I quickened my pace as I was closer to the house, my breathing heavy. I hadn’t had this good of a run in a while. I could feel my back and arms were drenched in sweat. My pony tail bounced around behind my head with every step i took. I finally reached the house, that i now called home. The boys were gone from the fornt of the yard, i was a little disappointed. The soccer ball was sitting in the corner of the yard, near the fence. My music still blasting, i picked the ball up and started dribbling it. This move had taken me forever to learn. I waked into the house about half hour after my run. I looked at the time, holy shit my run had last about an hour. I was head to the kitch to qlench my thirst, when i heard a bunch of guys laughing. I made my way towards the laughter, sitting at the table, were five boys that looked like gods. Sweat dripped down my face sticking, i walked to the fidge pulling out a bottle of krisp fresh water. I undid the cap, and pressed the bottle to my lips. I felt the cool liqued slide down my throat, sizing the rapid burning fire that had occured after running. I finnished half of the bottle, and headed towards the stiars, i had a towel wrapped around my neck to wipe the sweat from my face.
