Chapter 7

Sasukes P.O.V:

"How are you doing in school Sasuke?" My father asked me.

"Well I am at the top of all of my classes and am planning on being the student body president for this year. And if possible the next as well." I said to my father over the dinner table. It wasn't rare for him to ask this question, but it still shook me to my core every time.

"Good, but don't stop there, I want you to be the best that you can be. Like Itachi." My Father said. Itachi, my brother, was already out of high school, he was going to college for business and management and for hospitality as we. My father said that he wanted Itachi to take over the business when he retires and he wants Sasuke to to be his second in command.

Before his father said that he wanted one of his sons to take over for him. Now he has his sites set on Itachi because he is older and has accomplished more since grade school, while Sasuke was always a few points behind him on every test.

"Yes Father" I say and continue to eat after father goes back to eating.

Mother looked at me and smiled a mothers all knowing smile, "So Sasuke, how was school today? Anything fun happen?"

I stared at her for a second, swallowed my food and said "Well there is a new kid in class. They haven't really started fitting in and they're not making to many friends." I looked at my bowl of rice, it was really calling my name, but I knew she would have another question after this.

"Oh that's to bad. Are they doing well in class? Is this person a trouble maker?" I knew it, wait for me rice.

I had to think back for a minute, she did get the question right, and I don't even think she was paying attention. "Yes I would have to say that she does well in class." I looked at my mother and thought about the next answer for her other question. "It's not like she is a trouble maker, she just prefers to be on her own. She would rather not talk to people and be by herself." 

Kind of how I was, until I meet Dobe that is. I took my chopped sticks and grabbed a piece of rice and put it into my mouth... The wait was worth it. Its so delicious, mom makes the best.

My mother looked at me and 'hmm'ed. I looked up as I continued to chew on my rice. "So it's a girl huh..." She studied the answers in her mind for a moment and then said "Do you like this girl?"

I stopped chewing. Her question caught me of guard. "Yes." I said with a straight face. "This girl interest me. I find her quite fascinating." I said truthfully to my mother.

I can't hid anything from her. If I do she just brings it out of me until i say it. 

Trust me I've tried. I once went for a week with a lie and she knew the whole time. I swear that women is a lie detector.

Father put down his chopsticks and looked at me. "What do you know about this girl?" He asked me with a straight face.

I was shocked, I didn't expect him to be interested in a subject like this. The subject of women was never brought up by him, because Itachi and me have never been interested in the female creature. Besides our mother.

"Nothing much. She is a mysterious person." I thought back to when I first meet her at the cherry blossom tree. "She likes nature, especially cherry blossom tree's." I said thinking back to how she was angry about me being in the tree. It made me grin a little bit. "She is independent. She doesn't like to rely on people other than herself." I get that vibe from her, from the way her eyes meet mine on the roof. "But there is something different about her."
