Fred's POV
August 1994
Looking over at Delaney laying still on her hospital bed broke my heart. She looked so broken and sad; which was crazy considering she is such a strong witch. I've been pacing around her hospital room for hours now just waiting for something to happen. She's had different classmates in and family members; most of them being mine but a lot of the time Remus Lupin would come in and just sit with her for a while why I went back to school or home. The last three weeks have been hell. To watch someone who is usually so strong just lay there and not know what was happening was sad. There have been a few times where her father has somehow showed up without being caught and spend what little time he can with his daughter. I know it breaks him to see her like this as well.
I just wish she'd wake up.
Delaney's POV
I was stuck in my head and body, swimming in dreams with no way to get out. That's all I could do. However, this dream was different than the rest. It felt more real and less-dreamlike. In this dream I see a man. He seemed to be the caretaker of this unknown building. Although I was dreaming; It seemed as if I was also in the room. Another spectator looking over the scene infront of me. The Caretaker stands carefully at the top of a rundown, old staircase looking into a room occupied by three people. I knew exactly who two of the figured were. Voldemort and Wormtail. Two people I would never forget for one of them used to be my fathers best friend. The other man in the room however, I did not know him. But I could definitely hear them talking. "I will not disappoint you, My Lord." The unknown man speaks, aiming it towards the Dark Lord. Voldemort says something I couldn't understand. My guess was that it was in pastletounge. The snake slithers closer to Voldemort, her scales glistening in the dim lighting. It was actually kind of beautiful. She as well, spoke to the Dark Lord in pastletounge. Oh how I wish I had Harry's ability to speak and understand pastletounge. I watch on as the scene continues; not being able to do much as it was still a dream.
"Step aside Wormtail; Let me give our guest a proper greeting." Voldemort says and raises his wand, blasting the killing curse towards the poor caretaker. He was just a plain old human trying to do his job. There was a flash of green light and the thump of his body falling to the floor. I gasped and jolted awake, coming face to face with my boyfriend. "Oh god!" He said, loudly, rushing over to my side. "Hello." I croaked out. He pulled him into a tight hug. "I don't remember...what happened?" I asked Fred, turning a little bit so I could see his face. "You've been in a coma for the past three weeks. You were cursed. And you have scaring over most parts of your body." He explained and I looked down at my arm and noticed the scaring. I traced it lightly with my finger. "Oh, would you look at that." I said and Fred watched me carefully. "Um, I'll got a nurse." He said and left the room.
