The week seemed to go by so slowly. I thought the Friday of the party would never come but when it did I was rather nervous. The party started at seven it was now five and Ola was helping me get ready. Beck had left an hour ago so things were starting to fall in to place. I was wearing a little black dress and now Ola was doing my make up. It was a weird sensation. People don't do my make up often. When you're an assassin looks aren't essential. The nerves were getting to me and Ola could tell.
"You'll be fine," she says brushing my hair.
"You've always been good at this. Today is no different,"
"I hope you're right," I sigh.
It's 10 to seven and I'm sat at the bar holding my martini watching for him. Then I see him. He's walking in alone looking stressed. I bit my lip and waved at him flirtatiously. He made a double take and gestured to himself as if to say "me?" I nodded smiling. The guy practically ran at me. Excitedly he sat next to me.
"You gonna buy me a drink then?" I ask playing with my necklace.
"I don't even know your name," he smirked at me.
"I'm Alyssa," I whispered trying to be as sexy as possible. His lips curled up.
"Well Alyssa I'm max and what drink would you like?" He asked.
"I could do with another martini," because honestly I could. After getting the drink I began an evening of fake flirting.
At 9 I think it's time for me to get the show on the road.
"Hey mind if I come back to your place," I say leaning in so I can whisper in to his ear. He nods and we get up abs start walking. After 5 minutes of walking we get to the apartments and I'm shivering but smile because I can see Beck at the desk. He's already started with the cameras. The two of us walk up to his room. The two of us walk in to his room and as he makes the fatal error of locking his door, I pull out my gun.
