|| maybe we were just living between hurting and healing ||
natasha goes to england as the one last thing she'll do before the cancer takes too much of her. and she is determinded not to fall in love.
daley is into his second season as a red devil, and it is safe to say he is a regular at the centreback/leftback position.
natasha learns one thing during this trip:
you can't choose who to fall in love with, and you can't stop yourself from falling.

You know that I like to read all of the completed books of a certain author before choosing the one to review. Well, let me confess that I have to read 2 or 3 books by falloutblind before deciding which one to review but I loved "Stitches" so much I doubt I'll choose another.
I didn't see that coming, to be quite honest. I read "Wasn't expecting that" and I really liked it, but that was all. I enjoyed "Jurassic World". And then, "Stitches" took me by surprise and kind of tortured me.
Oh, man. I don't even know where to start.
The story is about Natasha Lang who suffers of lung cancer and has only 2 months left. Her only family is her brother, an ex-thief, and her sixty-some-years-old doctor Hank. She has a kind of last trip present before she dies and she chooses to cross the Atlantic ocean and visit Britain.
This is the moment in which I have to greet the author because I found the characters quite interesting, something not so often in wattpad stories. Scott Lang is an extremely cute ex-thief for God's sake! Where did you read about such a character before? And Hank reminded me of Hassan in "An abundance of Katherines", the funny secondary character. For me, Natasha was just a mix of Hazel Grace ("The fault in our stars") and Jamie Sullivan ("A walk to remember"), lovely.
The three of them go to Manchester where they have this meet and great with Manchester United's and Chelsea's squads. There comes the moment our girl meets Daley (the most adorable boy ever). They visit a lot of turistic places in England during the month there, most of the times acompaned by Juan Mata, Matteo Darmian, Ander Herrera and Daley Blind.
I appreciate the way they didn't fall in love the first second they saw each other and spent 26/27 chapters together. Jeez, it's so surreal when two characters start a relationship considering they didn't even know each other 4 hours before. Daley and Natasha's relationship seemed so real.
Their first kiss was the cutest thing ever. It hit me so hard. The tension was real because she was supposed to die but I kept reading and there were no symptoms.
Until the last 2-3 chapters.
I don't want to spoil the end, but I am going to tell that I was already sobbing when...
If you read it, you know what I'm talking about.
If you didn't, search it and read it. You won't regret it.
The writing was really good, though I found some of the dialogues too heavy because of the constant describing of events. But it was rather good.
To finish this review I'm going to say that "Stitches" is now in my top 3 favorite footie stories and I feel so emotional even though I finished it a couple of hours ago. I think I won't get over it any time soon.
Sorry for the shittie review, this story deserved a better one, but I'm sleepy and couldn't go to bed without writing it.

Thanks for reading,
