It all happened so fast. Mom was arguing with Ryan, we had been on the road all night because of who knows what. I had spent the ride texting Andy.

"Alyssa get off your phone! " I heard Ryan yell as he turned to me in the backseat. He reached for my phone. Before he could grab it, the car was t-boned and tipped over. The other car rammed into my side of the car. I hit my head seeing everything go blurry. I wanted to grab my phone and call 911 but I couldn't see straight to find it. Then..it was dark.
I saw a light, but it was different than the whole: "light at the end of the tunnel" thing. This was more of "I've been on tumblr for 4 days straight then go outside and stare at the sun." It burned my eyes for a second, then my eyes adjusted and I saw I was in my room. It was completely empty, no furniture or anything. "H-Hello?" I called out wondering what now.."What happened..?"
"I'm sorry Alyssa..you were in a car accident.." it was a man I didn't know. I don't know who he was, but I wasn't scared of him. It was like he was a close friend or something, I just..felt safe. "Where am I?" I asked him looking around my empty room.
He smiled kindly, "I've been asked to give you a message. You have a choice, go into heaven or stay and wander the earth looking after your friends. It's entirely up to you." That was an easy choice. "May I stay and look after my friends? I want to make sure they're okay.." He nodded, "If you choose that, you will stay there until you truly feel they're safe and happy." That didn't change my answer. "I understand. Thank you. I would like to go." With that he disappeared and I appeared by Andy.
