She was with her sister, smiling and laughing. I had never seen her so happy, it made me smile. Just then her phone buzzed.
Bzzz
Bzzz
Between laughs, she choked out: "Alright..Ashley! I have to get that." She got up, read a text, and her face went slightly pale. I looked over her shoulder, it was a text from my best friend Jamee.
"Andy? I have some news, Aly died. She was in a car accident two days ago. Her mom called Delanie from the hospital, and she called me. I'm sorry."

Tears fell from her eyes as she dialed my number. Obviously I couldn't answer it...she kept trying until after her third try she broke down into tears and curled up on her bed. I tried to hug her and tell her "It's okay Andy, I'm here now." And at first she just continued crying, then I heard her "K-Kitten..?"
"Could she hear me?" I wondered while I rubbed her back. "I'm right here Andy, it's okay." As she cried I saw these..things that looked like blobs of darkness surround her. With every tear they grew bigger and darker. It was like they fed off of her sadness. I let go for a minute and walked up to them. They started to take the shape of people, just like an outline. "Go away. You have no business here. She's been through enough in her life and doesn't need you guys hanging around. Go!" I demanded from them. They wouldn't move. I hugged Andy tightly again. "Can you hear me?" I asked her. She nodded as her sister looked at Andy's phone reading the text. "I'm sorry Andy about your friend.." Ashley spoke. She gave her a small hug then went to go get some dinner. I gave Andy one of her death hugs. "Andy, this is way better, you know why? I get to haunt you and everyone else. It's my job to make sure you guys are okay. " I smiled and wiped her tears. She smiled slightly and the three "men" started to lighten up just a little. "Kitten..is it really you?" I smiled and mewed. (I can do this really high pitched mew like a kitten.) She smiled wide, and the "men" turned into such a light grey, the almost blended in with the walls. Andy blinked for a moment. "What's wrong?" I asked her. "Nothing's wrong, I can see you.."
