Ch.2 Back to school

Halfway up the road they came across another roadblock this time there was no getting around it.
Ch: shot....looks like we're stuck here.
The road up ahead was blocked off by  a Dead whale, and there was no time to back track. With the sun going down, and Chloe's mom in the back with her cut up leg, back tracking was no option.
M: Chloe we don't have much time, when the sun goes down we can't go anywhere and your mom needs medical help. I think....
Max was thinking of what to say next.
Ch: thinking what?
M:that maybe....black weld!
Ch:black weld your shitty private school, how is that supposed to help us in this situation?? The nurses office,they must hove somethings we can use, bandages or maybe antibiotics for your mom and the others.
Ch: max your a fucking Genius!!
Chloe had thrown herself at max, which had thrown her off guard. Max was blushing so hard and her heart was beating so hard and fast, it was so loud she thought Chloe might hear it,and Chloe was so close and ..... So so soft.max hasn't exactly noticed but Chloe had gotten a little bigger then she was 5 years ago. " wow"
Chloe picked up her head and looked straight in to maxes eyes.
Ch:what.... Did you see somethings or what??
M:uh!!nope nothing ....no just that we should get going.
Ch:um...max are you ok??
M:um...ya you know me , so um lets get going.!!
Max Brock in to a run and tried to find somethings to recognize.
Eventually they found the nearly destroyed black weld academy.
The ground was torn and ripped apart from ground and buildings. To see the old school torn to shreds. Max could only imagine what the inside looked like or who might still be in there.
Ch: looks like it back to school.
M: aww already.
They both broke in to laughter, it was good to brake the tension after all that happens.
At they made there way to the main hall that looked to be barley Abel to stand.
Ch: hey max .....there's something that is bin meaning to ask you.
M: me... Well what is it?
Ch: it's about your thing.... You know the time traveling or whatever crap.
M: ya what about it?
Ch: now that hell broke loose and that it passed .... Can you still do your time thing?
Max Haden's though about it. All she knew was that whenever shit hit the fan she could always go back and fix it.
Still that one question always drew in the back of her mind. Why can she do what she does? How did it happen. To just turn time by will.
M: I think so....I haven't use it since we left the light house.
Chloe stop walking and turned to max.
Ch: ok then let's test it!
M: what.... How do you intend to test if I can still..
Before max could finish talking Chloe grabbed a descent size rock and chucked it at max. Max quickly raised her hand and the rock froze in midair and started to fly backwards.
Seconds passed and max dropped her hand. "Yup still works" said max.
Ch:hey max....there's something I've bin meaning to ask you?
M: is it about my time traveling shit?
Ch:..... Ya how did you??
Before she finished she knew max had tested it.
Ch: ok well it's good to know you can still fix shit..... Can I ask you something else?
M: shoot
Ch: what's it like?...like to stop everything and turn it all back?
M: it actually painful.... Not so much but if I turn things back to much or to far back it hurts my head, you can tell when I get my nose bleeds.
Ch: oh....you mean like now??
M: now??
Max hadn't notes that her nose was bleeding, she must have bin getting use to it. Max wiped it off and started up again.
M: alright let's get going, we need to find.... The nurse office !!!

The room was almost un touched. Showing that no one came in.
The shelves on the other hand were off the wall and on the floor. Luckily there was a first aid kit and a shit ton of meds.
Ch: alright let's head back.
M: yes sir Chloe sir!
Ch: haha vary funny. Don't act like...
M: like who....oh , Chloe I'm sorry.
Ch: no no it's cool I'm shore my dip shit step dads ok.
M: right!
With that they headed back to the truck and treated Chloe's mom and some of the others as best they could. The sun had gone down and they'd have to wait till morning to look for another way out of Arcadia bay tomorrow.
Night had fallen and it was getting cold. The people in the back had a blanket that Chloe found earlier.
Max and Chloe had to sleep in the front of the truck.
Ch:..... Shit it's freezing.
Max was cold to but she didn't mind. But knowing that Chloe did made max feel...unsettled.
M:.....move over.
Max had pushed Chloe a little over so that they both fit in one spot.
Ch: m...max are you sure about this... It's not that I mind it's just.
M:.... Chloe , go to sleep.
Max was to tiered to fight her on it and it's not like it wasn't the first time they slept together.
Chloe's POV:
.....what the hell!??
Why...why is my heart racing like this. Shit max you really know how to make a girl feel special...... I still can't believe it, all this cause of me, Max you could have fixed it all and instead you let me live.
Chloe looked over at max who was now fast asleep.
"Wow,she's so cute"
I know we're friends and all and I've only bin with her for a week but...I don't know how.....or what I'm going to do, I can't just be friends with her, it's just to much.. She's asleep, so maybe.... Just maybe it's ok if I steal a little kiss. Would it?
Chloe's leans in closer and closer her heart racing faster and faster.
Max starts to shake and move, Chloe panics and turns over.
"Shit,shit,shit!!! That was way to close, maybe latter .... Or never, man this sucks!"
Chloe's drift off to sleep. "So exactly what the hell are we going to do after this?"
Her last thought creeps in to her mind and stays.... "What ever I'll think it over tomorrow".
