part 9-DONT LEAVE ME!!!!!

Shehry pov
As sain's birthday celebrations were going on,Khadeeja informed me about having to fetch a glass of water

Before she could even reach the kitchen,she vomited near the dining-table
Fear continued downloading its app into my system
Everyone rushed towards her immediatly
I held her in my arms and she fainted

Worry creeped in me like a theif stealthily creeping in a house to steal.I was confused!!!!
I didnt know what to do

Khadeeja just lay helplessly in my arms
I could not do anything
Ammi and Abbu told me to carry Khadeeja to the sofa and i did so

After laying her down,we called the doctor but she said that she was too busy to come home
Wasting no more time,i picked Khadeeja in my arms and laid her down in the backseat of the car and drove of to HEARTBEAT COUNTS HOSPITAL

Upon arriving at the hospital i carried Khadeeja in my arms and doctors immediately came to my aid when they saw the worsening condition of Khadeeja as every minute ticked by

The doctors helped me lay Khadeeja on the stretche and immediately wheeled her away to the INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

I watched through the gap of glass on the door as i saw my Khadeeja being surrounded by all weird kinds of machines

The doctors wanted to monitor her breathing which was quite unstable at that time
The doctors didnt wait to waste a second because she was sinking!!!!!

They could not afford to lose her neither could i
I went and took a wudhu and started prayin my namaz

Ya Allah,i have never asked you for anything for myself in my life because Alhamdullilah You blessed me with everything
You blessed me with khadeeja A friend
A companion
I cannot live without her and she promised to stand by me and never leave my side
Ya Allah please give my Khadeeja shifaa'
Please!!!!!

A tap on my shoulder released me out of my thoughts
I turned and saw Dr.Zoya standing behind me

Umm,Shehryaar lagta hai Khuda ne aapki baat sunli hai...Khadeeja's breathing is stable now though i want to discuss with you regarding her medical condition
Lets talk about it in my cabin

I followed silently behind
Khadeeja's medical condition?????
What could it be?????

We reached the cabin and Dr.Zoya ushered me to have a seat
I did so then a nurse walked in and handed a brown envelope to Dr.Zoya and walked away

Shehryaar,i feel sorry to inform you but Khadeeja has Anemia

What!?!?!?
Did she just say anemia??????
Its.....its not possible

Shehryaar,anemia is a medical condition  whereby there is a decrease in the amount of Red blood cells or better saying haemoglobin content in the body

This is like more of a lowered ability of the blood to carry oxygen in layman's terms
I guess you saw one of the symptoms
The minor signs of the disease are...
Tiredness,weakness,shortness of breath

Major signs are...
Confusions
Increased thirst
Khadeeja's anemia is type 2

She has a decreased RBC production in her blood due to the increased RBC breakdown that could occur probably during an injury and sometimes excessive menstrual flow

It can also be due to iron deficiency,lack of vitamin B12,thallasemia and number of neoplasm of the bone marrow

Frankly speaking,this disease has no cure but yet can be controlled  by medications
Iron pills which will increase the blood content in her body and production of RBC as well

One more thing,Khadeeja might never be able to concieve because it may put her life on the line
During delivery,women tend to lose a lot of blood from their body and those crucial moments could make you have a child but lose your wife at the same time

Millions of women die every year because of this disease

You have to be extra careful wih her otherwise i am sorry to say but you will lose her!!!!

No...no....
Kha.....khadeeja wont leave me
She...she has promised to stand by me

I went back to the ICU room and sat down beside Khadeeja holding her hand and weeping

Talking to her lifeless body

I suddenly felt a ruffle in my hair like Khadeeja always does
I looked up and saw khadeeja had gained conciousness and hugged her tightly as i buried my face in the crook of her neck inhaling her sweet fragnance

Khadeeja pov
When i gained conciousness,i found myself in a totally different environment

Surrounded by machines
Breathing through an oxygen mask
Drip bottles and all

Shehryaar was sitting beside me, holding my hand and crying

i felt so helpless as ever
I wanted to talk to Shehry but my throat felt dry and parched up

I raised my hand and ruffled Shehry's hair as i always do...
He looked up at me with blood shot red eyes

He immediately hugged me and buried his face in the crook of my neck

Khadeeja,please dont ever leave
Please stand with me forever

I looked at Shehry and a cough interrupted our hug
Upon looking,it was doctor Zoya standing smiling at us

Ummm,agar romance ho gaya ho then i have a good news for you
Khadeeja can be discharged by tomorrow but shehryaar you are supposed to take utmost good care of her
Now you can carry on

I looked at Shehry and he looked at me
Shehry lifted my head up gradually helping me to lean against my pillow

He took a glass of water and made me drink water
After that,he wiped my mouth and as he stood up to fetch the tray of food,i held his hand

He sat beside me on the bed
I neared him and hugged him tightly in a deep embrace never meant to be broken under whichever circumstances
