I walk into the SCC, and there are so many more cliques than I imagined. That's when I realized, finding a group of friends won't be easy. But then again, nothing in life is. Anyways, I decide to sit down and act like I'm doing something productive on my phone. But secretly, I wanted someone to come up and start a conversation with me. I mean, that would be the easiest way. I just have to sit here!
I go on Instagram and start liking funny videos that make me laugh harder than they should. Then, I smell a whiff of perfume breeze by me. It smelled like a beach or a summers day. It smelled like a pretty girl. I look up and I see a girl that probably gets 10,000 compliments a day. Her hair was dyed pink on the bottom, and she had a beanie over her head showing a slight bit of her bleach blond hair. She had a purple t-shirt on and blue jeans. I think the one thing that caught my eyes was her feet. She had no shoes on. Investigating further, I notice a bottle of bright pink nail polish in her hand. I guess she wanted somewhere to paint her nails. Or she's just like me. Looking productive just so she doesn't look goofy and boring. Well, like I said, life isn't always easy. Guess I have to make an effort to make friends here. She seems nice. I can do this. I know I can just walk up... And say hi.
"Hi."
