"Uh... Well sure Owen. Why not? Come with me to get shoes?" She asked.
MAJOR RELIEF. I take a breath and nod at her with a big smile. I look like an idiot, I know. But a pretty girl is willing to walk around with me!
"Lead me there!" I said, motioning for her to go first. She walks by, and I smell the perfume again.
I walk behind her and look around to see if anyone is seeing this. I know they won't care, I wouldn't. But, this is amazing. For me at least.
I imagine what she's like. A punk rock girl. Or maybe a surfer. Or... What if she has a boyfriend. WOAH! Okay. I can't jump to conclusions here. If she has a boyfriend... Yeah that's fine. We barely know each other, why would I be hurt over that. Pfft. No. I'm a big boy. Soon, I realize we're outside walking under the cloudy sky. I noticed it was cloudy because Logan said something about the color being depressing. I answered with a subtle, "Yeah."
"Aren't you cold?" I asked. "You're not really dressed appropriately for this type of weather." I said motioning to mainly her feet. "Not really. I mean... I'm sure I am I'm just not thinking about it right now." She said smiling. "Well, what are you thinking about?" I asked walking closer to her.
"Hmm... I've never been asked that question before." She said walking a little slower looking at the ground. "Come back to me." She answered and winked. Next thing I know, we're running. I'd assume to her room. "I'm sorry did I make you think about the cold?" I asked, slightly out of breath. "No! I just like running!" She answered. She was a really fast runner. Either that, or I'm just not a runner at all. "Here we are!" She says and stops in her tracks. It took a lot for me to slow down, but I did. I saw a large brown building that I had to look up to see the top of it. I look back down, and she's already in the building. I have to run yet again to catch up with her, but
I
don't
mind.
