Persephone Rei was the sunshine. She was sun kissed skin and childish laughter. She was days spent with friends and peach iced tea on a hot summers day. Persephone Rei was young, and beautiful and everything a child should be. Most of all, Persephone was naive to believe she would stay that way. The nightmares crawl up her throat with a determined malice that jolts her awake in screams. The memories of days spent in the sun overshadowed by days spent in the company of death.
Persephone Rei was once the sunshine, now she is the storm.

hi everyone! so yes, I did change Emily's name to persephone. Im not too sure why I just really like it? it also fits with the new theme I will be developing for upcoming stories. There will be a disclaimer in the next chapter but I would like to say now that the hunger games or ionic do not belong to me. The setting of Panem, the games themselves, finicky, Annie, mags, and any other original characters I use all belong to Suzanne Collins.
