JACK'S POV
As soon as the tower got into view I sped up and headed towards the window. I pushed it slowly making a creaking noise, I jumped in and was enveloped by darkness. I turned my head in all directions hoping to see her, "Rapunzel!" I called again and again but there was no answer. I gripped a chair that was nearby until my knuckles became white. Then I heard a sound, it was very faint like small whispers coming from the ground underneath me. I took a few steps backwards , kneeled on the ground, and put my ear at it. The voices although still faint became louder. I got up a little, knocked on the ground, and noticed it's hollow. I brushed my fingers across it until I came upon a small crack. Sliding a couple of fingers inside it, I pulled it towards me until It got off , making a small rectangular hole that I could enter. I looked inside it but it was even darker than my surroundings. I was about to stand up, when I heard the voices again , now clearer but I still couldn't make out what they were saying. Hesitantly but surely I got in, because if it meant that I could find my love so be it.
