It was raining and close to midnight. We were just finishing a mission in an abandoned city far out of our territory. We were being chased by the other territory's warriors. "Everyone in here!", My alpha said. Our alpha's name was Jay. He was very protective of me when we went on missions together. I wasn't sure if he liked me or not. I guess he's like that with everyone, though. "Moon come on!", he said pulling me in the building.
"Oh, I'm sorry..." I said barricading the door. I ran down the hall where the others were. My sister...Wolffie was checking the other rooms in the building with my friend Catalina. They were both a lot tougher than I was. Well, I guess it's because they train more than I do.
My friend Antonie was Jay's beta. He had a huge crush on me but I didn't like him as much as I liked Jay. "Hey, Moon... whats wrong with you today? You seem to be out if it....", Antonie said patting me on the back. "I don't know if I want to be in this pack anymore.... I feel useless to the pack. I'm weak and will always be weak." I said looking at some of the artifacts on the display case.
"You're not useless... You are special in your own way. You just don't know it yet!", he said with a goofy looking smirk on his face. "Whatever...beta!", I said forcing out a smile and punched him in the arm.
"Ow... For an omega your pretty strong.....", he said rubbing his arm. I turn around ending up crashing into someone's chest. "Ow what the hell!", I said stepping back. " That's no way for an omega to speak to an alpha!", Jay said looking down at me.
"O-oh I'm sorry... I-I didn't mean to alpha...", I said to him.
" Guys I found something come quickly!", Wolffie yelled from the other room. We all ran to where she was to find her staring at a painting. "What is that?", Catalina said following Wolffie's eyes to the painting. " Is that us? That's impossible!", I said looking at the painting. "Yep that's us they at least captured my good side!", Antonie said boasting about himself. "But how could it be? We have been here before." Jay said getting a closer look at it. " Someone knows that we are wolves and wait...that's weird why do I have wings?", I said turning around to see everyone staring at me.
