Chapter 6- I Found Him

I woke up after the talk with my mother. I ran as fast as I could to get away from Chris. He was chasing me. He seemed angry and that just made me run faster. "Moon get back here!", Chris yelled from the distance. "Leave me alone...You are the bad guy! I should have know...why did I trust you!", I yelled back.

I started to feel my feet lift off the ground...I was flying!. Chris stopped chasing me knowing that he would never catch up. I felt the wind breeze going through my wings. The moon lit my path to a river where I saw another wolf sitting by it. I was hesitant to approach him so I just sat in the trees.

"What do you want from me!", he yelled. I recognized his voice it was...Jay. I just stayed quiet... I was scared that he would get angry. Then another voice spoke...dad. It's like a family reunion tonight... I just stayed out of their conversation.I left to go search for a place to sleep for the night.

I touched the ground and the plants started to rise and make a cottage. "What the heck!?", I said backing up. I turned back into my human form. I learned that when you turn you lose your clothes. I ran quickly into the cottage. I guess I can use these powers to make me some clothes. I made myself a green leaf dress out of the leaves on the tree by the window. It took hours to finish but at least it looked good.

I got dressed and decided to go to the river and get some fish to cook for dinner. I ran out the cottage and towards the river. I tripped over Jay's leg and fell into the water. "What the hell!?", Jay said rubbing his leg. I started swimming away but he hopped in the water after me. "What do you want from me... I'm sorry for tripping over your leg..." I said climbing out of the water and running into the forest.

" Wait who are you!?", he said running after me. "No, I can't tell you that...", I said taking off my leaf dress and tying it around my ankle and transformed into my wolf form."Whoa.... Wait I want to talk!", Jay said turning into his wolf form. I tried running faster but he just caught up with me. I don't know why I didn't just fly away... I just wanted to see him again. "What do you want Jay?", I said stopping by a tree. "You know my name...?", he said starring at me.

"Yeah of course...You forgot about me that fast...", I said frowning. " We've met before?", Jay said confused. " It's me...Moon. The one you kicked out of your pack.", I said as my eyes turned blue. "Moon...its been awhile since I've seen you last.", he said as his ears flopped down. I could tell he was sad about something so I didn't want to make it worse for him."Yeah, I'm sixteen now... I'm not how I used to be.", I said setting my wings down to my side.

"I can see that...You got your wings.", he said looking at my wings. "Yeah what are you doing out here?", I said smiling. "It's complicated... don't worry about it.", he said looking around. "Do you have a place to stay the night?", I said hearing something in the distance. "No I think we should get out of here....", he said being alert. "Okay I have a place not far from here... Let's go!", I said running towards the cottage. He followed behind me.

We reached the cottage a few minutes later. I transformed into my human form and used my powers to lift the cottage up into the trees. I changed into my dress... I didn't really care if he saw me naked. I had enough problems to deal with.

" ....So you have powers?" He choked. " Yeah...", I said growing an apple tree in the kitchen. "Oh... This is a nice place you got here.", he said transforming into his human form. "Thanks, I made it a couple of hours ago.", I said handing him an apple. "Nah...I'm good.", Jay said handing it back. "Oh alright... You can sleep in the guest room. It's in the room to the right." I said yawning while walking towards my room.

"Thank you, Moon...Um have a good night's sleep.", he said heading towards the guest room. "You too alpha... Stay warm." I said closing my door. ' He seems a lot nicer than before... I hope he'll be okay.' I flopped on the bed and wrapped myself in the blankets. I fell asleep and then everything went dark.
