"Where are we going, father? It's very dark out here.", Six-year-old me said. " Don't worry we are almost there.", my father said. It was dark and cold. I didn't know why we were out before curfew. The alpha will punish us for this.
We reached a cleared patch of the forest. "This is where we are going to live for now.", he said placing his hand on my shoulder. " What about Wolffie? We can't just leave her.", I said crying. "You will see her again but first we need to make you as strong as she is. We need you to be more like Wolffie.", he said in a serious tone. "Why can't I just be myself?", I said as my eyes turned blue.
-End of Flashback-
As I was sitting on the tree I could smell that Jay was close by. He walked over to the tree I was in and started to climb up to the branch I was sitting on. "I thought you were going to the river...", he said wiping away the tears in my eyes. "I was going through a hard time but I'll be okay...", I said looking away from him for I felt shocks going through my body when he touched my face. "Moon you know you can tell me anything right?", Jay said pulling my chin so I could see him.
"I don't know... its hard to trust people in my life. It's like someone tells you that they'll be there for you then they turn their back on you in your time of need.", I said as my eyes turned blue. "I know we had some bad times but I'll be there for you.", he said as ears flopped down. "Maybe one day I'll let you in but for now. I'm still on my own.", I said before jumping from the tree branch.
I wish I could tell him everything...how I felt about him...how much I thought about him but I don't want to have my heart torn to shreds again. When I turned around he was behind me...he was super close. We looked into each other's eyes for what felt like forever. "J-Jay why are you so-", was all I said before he kissed me.
I was frozen still. My face was redder than a tomato. My mind kept processing what was going on so in confusion I ran away. "Wait Moon! I'm sorry!", Jay said as he chased after me. I transformed into my wolf form and ran to the cottage. When I reached the cottage I transformed into my human form and ran into my room and locked the door.
I heard him run into the cottage. He knocked on my door."Moon I don't know what got into me. I couldn't control it.", he said. "You kissed me ... I don't know what to say to you." I said as I laid in my bed. "...Was it bad?", he said nervously.
"No, it was good... I feel awkward talking about this.", I said covering my face with a pillow. "Oh okay!", he said I could sense he was smirking on the other side of the door. I could hear him walk back to his room. I took a deep breath and smiled. The alpha kissed me.
