While the three boys were still talking with Mr.McMahon, I started to get ready for my first concert. I managed to find my locker room without any help, and saw that the Shield was right across the hall from my own.
Even now, the story line starts.
Once I got into the dressing room, I started to warm up my voice by singing along to some of my favorite songs. Anything from Broadway to Country Music to even a little Carry On My Wayward Son. While warming up my voice, I put on basic stage makeup and straighten my golden blonde hair. I also got dressed in my stage outfit: a white corset with demin shorts. To complete my country girl look, I paired it with cowgirl boots and a silver angel necklace.
I looked at myself in the mirror, just to make sure that my battle wounds were showing. I smiled at myself because for the first time in forever, I looked like myself. At that moment, I knew that my healing had started.
I walked out and I saw the Shield entering their locker room. I decided to try and sneak past them because it looked like they were concentrated on the job that needed to be done tonight. My plan was working, until I heard a voice say, "Why hello, Ms. Winchester."
I turned around and spat out, "John.". I saw the three Shield boys come out of their locker room. Roman looked like he wanted to punch John, Seth was shooting daggers at John. Dean was...looking concerned...for me.
John came and approached me, "You don't have to act like that towards me."
Anger got the best of me when I said, "Oh yeah! How do you expect me to behave towards you after what you did to me?!?"
John lightly touches me and I flinched, "Like you still love me."
"Not going to happen, idjit.". I then decided to walk away from John and the three Shield boys. I didn't want to get hurt again, plus I was also going to miss my cue for all of the technical stuff.
"Wait up, Jo!". Once again, it was John.
The equipment was being put on when I snapped, "What now, John?!?"
"Do you want to be together again? I really miss you."
I scoffed and said, "Nope. You treated me like a piece of dirt under your foot. You took everything I knew away from me! I don't need you back in my life!"
I left him standing there and grabbed my microphone. With a few minutes left until my debut, the nerves were starting to hit. I felt someone tapped my shoulder and ask me, "Jo, are you alright?"
I thought it was John, but when I turned around, I saw that it was none other than Dean Ambrose. Instead of flipping out, I managed to hold my tongue. When I saw him, I felt my anger disappear. I had no reason to be mad at Dean Ambrose.
I smiled, knowing that he wouldn't hurt me, and responded, "Yeah. John is just an ex-boyfriend.". And my fricking nightmare.
He smiled and said, "Now how long were you with that megadouche?"
I laughed at his nickname for John and replied, "Since my Junior Year of high school."
"And how old are you, Ms. Winchester?"
"21. And Mr. Ambrose, are you trying to flirt with me by asking these questions?"
His laughter reminded me of the Trickster, "Maybe.".
I would have responded, but I heard the band start to play 'Tornado.'. Before I walk out, I say to Dean, "Hate to cut this conversation short, but unlike y'all for right now, I have to entertain the crowd.".
