As soon as the Shield heard my question about the trainer's office, Roman and Seth looked at each other. I have a feeling that they didn't know, or they were playing dumb. I heard Dean say,"I'll show you where his office is. Follow me, Ms. Winchester."
The other two were shocked the he was so willing to help me out. At that time, I was just happy to have someone take me there, or else who knows what John would have done. I walked out of the room, and caught up to Dean. Once I managed to catch up to him, I said, "Thank you for taking me to Shelby's office."
He responded, "With your bad guy out there, I don't want you being left alone. Plus, you're injured really bad."
Does he...like me? The craziest member of the Shield might actually like me? A million thoughts raced through my head, and I had no idea on how to respond. Well, since I wasn't sure about his feelings towards me, but I knew his bad boy reputation, so I responded with, "Am I seeing the softer side of Dean Ambrose? The bad boy of the Shield?"
"Maybe." Dean smiled at me, a rare occurrence I knew, and that just made me smile. At that moment, we approached the trainer's room. And sure enough, John was waiting outside of the office.
Dr. Shelby stepped out of his room an immediately saw me and asked, "Why, Ms. Winchester, good to see you again. What exactly happened to you now?"
I was about to bust John's actions when he said, "She tripped and fell into a pile of equipment, and metal poles fell on her."
Dean just shot John the look of death, while John, the lying person that he is, just looks at me and smiled. Dr. Shelby, was even skeptical of John's tall tale. But, since it was the only thing that he knew, he had to believe the lie that John told. Dr. Shelby finally spoke up, "Okay. Ms. Winchester, please follow me. And Mr. Ambrose, I need to make sure that you are okay to fight."
I followed rather quickly, mainly out of the fear that John would kill me, and Dean followed rather quickly. Once Dean made it into the office, Dr. Shelby closed the door and said to me, "I will treat you for your injuries shortly. Mr. Ambrose, you are free to go now. Ms. Winchester is in good hands with me."
Dean came over to where I sat down, a cot that was used for examinations, and I said to him, "Good luck out there. This is the time to show them everything. Make sure they remember you."
He quickly embraced me and replied, "Thanks Jo. Hope you feel better. Now, I have to go fight some injustice now, so behave for once, please?"
I giggled, "I will. I'll be watching you and your brothers out there. Dean then walked out of the trainer's room, to probably go meet up with his brothers and decide what will happen tonight. I wanted to say, Please stay here with me. I'm scared of what John could do to me. John was being checked out by Dr. Shelby, and as usual, he was arguing with someone. I closed my eyes to try and tune John's bickering with Dr. Shelby.
After what seemed like eons of time, Dr. Shelby came over and apologized for his behavior with John. He then said to me, "I told him that his right shoulder was in no shape of fighting tonight. He told me he got into a fight with someone, and that he was ready to compete. Do you know who he fought with?"
Do I tell this man the true about me? What actually happened, and that would finally reveal John's lies?
I responded quietly, "Well, no. But, he did fight an innocent person. And this person probably injured him by trying to get away."
Dr. Shelby turned around and looked at me with shock, "How do you know this? Wait...you never were near any equipment, right?"
I nodded quickly, "Yep. John lied to you about that, and I know him so well because...He is an ex-boyfriend of my."
Dr. Shelby then started to grab the ice packs needed to treat me and said quietly, "Who else knows about John?"
"The Shield, a little bit. Other than that, that's really it." Relief hit me as the ice packs were placed on my sore and tender back.
Dr. Shelby responded by saying, "I always knew the son of a bi$&+ had something hiding like that. No wonder why every Superstar and Diva hates his guts."
"What exactly do you mean, hate?"
He sighed, "Everyone hate him because of his attitude towards others. He thinks that he is so much better than everyone, but that's far from the truth. And if they found out about this, he would be fired."
I responded, "I don't mind if you need to tell anyone about this, actually. I'm guessing you would, anyway."
Dr. Shelby sighed again, "Sure, I'll tell someone, but the problem is that everyone is afraid of John's wrath."
"And I'm just another victim. Right?"
"Unfortunately." I heard the pyro go off, and Dr. Shelby turned on the TV. I saw the pay per view opening remarks, and I was so excited that I heard my singing open it up.
Before Dr. Shelby left for the ring, he said to me, "Now, stay off of your feet for as long as possible. That'll help with the swelling. Jus relax as much as possible, Ms. Winchester."
"Thank you." The door to his office closed, and I just looked up at the TV, waiting patiently for the Shield's debut.
