Forever//My Digital Escape

Chapter 2

A/N Hey everyone, I haven't updated in forever (no pun intended xD) and I'm really sorry, but I'm gonna TRY to update regularly. Also, I'm going to be starting another story soon, so yea. Let's get this thing started.

-Johnnie's POV-

"I, urm, uh, sorry" she said shyly. I realize it's the girl I share 5 out of 6 classes with, Makenzie. She bent down and picked up the books I had dropped when we collided. Can she get any more adorable?

Wait...what? I think she's adorable...?

She looked up and her eyes went from embarrassment to fear, and then back again. Is she scared of me?

Oh, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Johnnie Guilbert. My friends; Jordan, Bryan, Jeydon, Alex, Shannon, Kyle, and I have this YouTube channel called 'My Digital Escape'. It's not huge, we have about 100 subscribers. We don't really care about how many subs we have though, it's all about having fun and making people laugh.

Also, I'm your basic emo kid. I have straight black hair that's swept off to one side. I always wear all black, no matter how hot it is. The only jeans I have are skinny jeans. And, I wear a lot of eyeliner.

I like a lot of punk rock bands such as Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance, All Time Low, etc. That's really all you need to know, for now at least so, yeah, back to where we left off.

I bent down with her and picked up her stuff, seeing as she was picking up mine. She had dropped her History book, and...a sketchpad? I didn't know she liked to draw.

We both stood at the same time and gave the other their things back.

"I'm s-sorry, I can b-be really c-clumsy sometimes" she squeaked out. She was about to turn and walk away but I couldn't let that happen. There was something about her that made me want to get to know her more. I mean, we were in most of the same classes but she was always very quiet. And ever since that day at lunch when I caught her staring, I've been wanting to find out what she's like.

"Wait!" I said, grabbing her wrist. She flinched a little at my touch, but I just figured she was scared, not expecting me to say anything. "It's not your fault. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I should be the one apologizing."

She stared at me like I deer caught in headlights.

"I, uh, I still should have had my head up, y'know, l-looking at where I was going."

"Hey, what do you say we just forget about it?"

"O-Okay. S-See ya around Johnnie" And with that she hurried away. I can tell she has a wall up. A wall meant to block everybody out.

I'm determined to break down that wall...

*School bell rings*

Yay. English. I sighed and took my seat, counting the minutes until this class was over.

The teacher walked in and started talking about the stupid book we are reading. I zoned out almost immediately.
