Jeonghan opened his eyes and stared at the white ceiling above him. The news from yesterday's night were still a shock for him. He is getting engaged....with a boy, whom he had never met before. It was at the dining table when his parents finally broke the news to him, tho he noticed that they had been weird around him for the past few weeks.
Jeonghan got up the bed and ruffled his bed hair."Why does it has to happen to me?"
He mumbled and walked to the bathroom, with his eyes closed. He stood before the mirror and looked at his own reflection. The long straight silky silver hair, the big round brown eyes, the cute button nose and those rose-like plump lips. It wasn't a problem if he was a girl but he was a guy, a male and he is getting confusion often. And he didn't like that. For the last time, he sighed before brushing his teeth and taking a shower. He got out of the shower, wrapping himself in his fluffy light blue bathrobe. He opened his wardrobe, thinking of an outfit for today, his first meeting with his-soon-to-be-fiance. Jeonghan took out a grey shirt and a pair of black tight pants out of his big wardrobe together with a small silk strap to tie into a bow and a pair of white shoes. He quickly change into his outfit and tied his hair up into a high pony tail. Then, he sat on his bed, staring at nothingness. To be honest, his mind was blank. He can't get into the idea of getting married. He decided that he will just tell the other to call off the wedding. Well, who would like to marry with a same gendered person? Jeonghan smiled slightly as he mom's head popped in from behind the door.
"Oh, my pretty baby...you are all dressed up. Good, now why don't we go downstairs? They are gonna be here soon"
his mother said as she slowly led him out of the room. Jeonghan walked down the stairs. He can see everyone looking at him, all the maids and the house's servants. He smiled softly at them. He walked straight into the dining room. To his surprise, the look of the room had changed. It is already decorate with red and gold decorations, the utensils already laid out on the table.
"So, they are also here for lunch?"
He asked the maid folding the tablecloth.
"Yes, young master. I think they will be here for about 5 hours. By the way, congratulations sir"
The maid said as she smiled. Jeonghan just nodded a bit and smiled. He walked out to the back of the house, into the garden. He breathed in the cool morning breeze and sighed. He was only 18 and he felt that his early twenty years are going to be a waste.
"Honey, they are here"
His mother called out from the window. Jeonghan sighed as he walked back into the house. He stood beside his mother and father as they greeted the other family. He took a glance at his soon-to-be-fiance. And he knew that love at first sight existed. He fell in love with his fiance.
"Oh, is that you dear? Jeonghannie, how did you grow up so beautiful?"
His soon-to-be-mother-in-law, know as Mrs. Choi said. Jeonghan smiled saying a soft thank you. He then looked at his fiance, a black haired boy who is slightly taller than him as the other let out a soft scoff. Jeonghan felt his heart nearly died when the latter smiled at him.
"Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Choi Seungcheol"
Seungcheol said as he held out his hand. Jeonghan smiled as he shook his hands with seungcheol.
"Nice to meet you too. I'm Yoon Jeonghan"
He said as the other grinned.
"We will give you two some time to get to know to each other. We will be in the living room"
The two couple of parents said as they disappeared into the living room.
"Umm....Jeonghan ssi, can we talk?"
Seungcheol said as he looked at Jeonghan. Jeonghan led seungcheol into the garden.
"Umm...so?"
he looked at seungcheol as they stood in the garden.
"I am sorry Jeonghan but I want to call off the engagement"
Seungcheol blurted out.
'He is so straightforward'
Jeonghan thought. But He knew that it wasn't the others fault that he wanted to call off the wedding. He wanted it too. But now, that he had seen seungcheol, he's got this strange feeling in his gut, getting butterflies whenever they locked eyes.
"Umm....."
Jeonghan hesitated.
"You also want to cancel the engagement, right? I mean, what kind of guy want to marry a guy, right?"
Seungcheol said. Jeonghan felt a strange pain in his heart. But, he just shrugged it off and nodded.
"Um....I am sorry for this, sir and ma'am"
Seungcheol stood in front of their parents and motioned for Jeonghan to finish what he had started. Jeonghan looked at his parents and then at Seungcheol. He seriously didn't want to call off their engagement. He realized that it was only his chance to get closer with Seungcheol. He sighed then opened his lips.
"I....I am in love with him"
Jeonghan said as he looked at Seungcheol. Seungcheol's eyes widened. He was surprised and there was anger somewhere in his mind. The parents chuckled.
"Oh dear, you guys gave me a heart attack for sure. I though you guys are going to call off the wedding and all"
Seungcheol's dad said. Seungcheol smiled as he looked at his dad.
"We are not appa"
He said as he smiled, looking at
Jeonghan. And the latter knew that he was in some kind of trouble."I am sorry Seungcheol, I just couldn't get those words out of my mouth"
Jeonghan said as he went after Seungcheol who excused himself from the living room. Seungcheol turned to look at Jeonghan.
"But you could get those words out of your mouth...in love with me, huh?"
Seungcheol said as he leaned closer. Jeonghan just looked down on his legs.
"What a faggot you are"
