"Cheeseburger and ice challenge? The fuck is that?"
I laughed.
"Eat as many cheeseburgers as you can while you hold salt and ice in your hand."
Beau laughed as he dumped the burgers on the table.
"I bet Beau pukes first."
Jai laughed.
"It's quite obvious that he will. It is Beau we're talking about."
Lexie giggled as she kissed Beau's cheek.
"Hahaha, very funny."
He chuckled.
"How's Shannon?"
James asked softly.
"Not good. She's been crying for a while. She fell asleep when I left last night. She trusted him. She just feels so betrayed, ya know?"
Lexie explained softly.
"Yeah."
We all said.
"You guys ready?"
She asked and we nodded.
"Hey guys, we're Daresundays!"
"Mr. Brooks, you're late!"
The teacher yelled.
"Sorry, had to be somewhere."
I said as I held my stomach. I ate too many cheeseburgers. She wrote me a detention slip and I rolled my eyes.

Who cares?"
Received:
James:
Someone's been crying all period...
Along with the text was a picture of Shannon, head down. She was crying. Her tears shouldn't be wasted on that scum. My heart ached for her, my brain wanted to feel Skip's nose crunching underneath my knuckles.
Received:
James:
I feel so bad.
Me too James, me too.
When lunch came I was anxious to see Shannon. I wanted to comfort her. My thoughts took over as I strolled through the lunchroom and got my lunch. I thought about what I'd say to her if she came to lunch. I sat two seats away from Lexie, and took a bite out of my sandwich. Shannon sat next to me and immediately put her head down. I looked up and saw Skip turn around and walk the other way. I smirked and continued eating. I head a tiny sniffle and my smirk fell from my face.
I rubbed her back lightly. She lifted her head slightly and wiped her tears away with the sleeve of her hoodie. She looked at me and smiled weakly. My heart broke into a million pieces. I smiled back and she started to cry again. There was no way I was going to let her sit in school and cry all day. I stood and grabbed her stuff and then her hand. She told and I escorted her out of the lunchroom. I walked her to her locker and opened it. I put her books away and gave her the hoodie. She put it on and we left the building.
When we got to my house, I took her up to my room. She sat on the bed and took her jacket off. I took it from her and hung it up on the door. I took her earphones out of her ears and placed her phone on the table. I laid on the bed and she laid her head on my chest. She began to cry again and I frowned. I rubbed her back and she placed a hand over her face as she cried harder. I grabbed her hand gently and she looked up at me.
