*trigger warning: mentions of eating disorders and self abuse*

8:46PM

"Hyung?" Jimin questioned from the couch in the living room.

Yoongi was in the joined kitchen, leaning on the bench reading the most recent news paper while waiting for the water to boil on the stove, so he could cook ramen for the two. Yoongi had insisted on cooking for the two. Jimin didn't want to eat but he also didn't want the elder to cause a fuss, but still he followed the instructions and sat on the couch.

"Hm?" Yoongi hummed in response, not looking up from his newspaper, he was reading a particularly interesting article.

"Are you okay, hyung? You're acting a bit different.." Jimin trailed off and looked down at his hands; z habit he did when he was nervous, anxious or felt guilty. He was worried that he, himself, was the cause of his hyung's change.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just worried, Jimin." Yoongi shortly replied, still looking at his paper.

"Hyung. Why do you care? You barely know me, you haven't known me for more than a day, but you act like a brother that has known me for years." Jimin spoke softly.

Yoongi looked over his shoulder to the boy sitting on the couch, he padded over to said couch and sat next to the younger. "As far as I'm concerned, you are my brother. You have no one else and I understand that, I know what it's like and I want to help you."

"Thank you, hyung." Jimin smiled a little before looking over Yoongi's shoulder to see the pot of water overflowing, "sorry to ruin the moment and all, but...your water is overflowing." Jimin informed as Yoongi mumbled a 'shit' and quickly got up to go to the kitchen. Jimin giggled as Yoongi stumbled around the kitchen frantically, before finally realising all he had to do was turn the heat down, "okay, okay, its good, okay." He mumbled as he slowly stepped backward, as if he had stepped too heavy the pot would break.

After Yoongi had successfully finished the dish without any more mishaps, he served it up for himself and Jimin.

Both of them were worried about eating in front of the other. They both had eating disorders they struggled with, and because of that they didn't particularly eat too much on a daily basis.

Jimin had made up the excuse that he still wasn't very hungry, probably because of his medication, while Yoongi said that he wasn't very hungry either. Luckily neither of them had picked up anything suspicious about the other.

"Aish, Jimin, aren't you hot? It's like 31 degrees and you're still in a jacket and jeans." Yoongi asked as the two had 'finished' their meal.

"Ah, no, no, I'm...cold-blooded so I don't feel the heat rather I get cold." Jimin awkwardly laughed at the end hoping Yoongi would fall for that. Of course he wasn't cold blooded, he was just as hot as everyone else but he couldn't take his jumper or jeans off, because his scars would be seen which was just another thing to add to the list of things he was self-conscious about.

Yoongi didn't answer Jimin's reply, instead he looked behind his shoulder to the clock on the wall, it read 9:57pm. "Oh my god, it's already 10. Are you tired, Jiminie?" Yoongi looked back to Jimin, "Ah, now you say it I am." Jimin yawned.

"Where should I sleep?"

"In my bed, I'll sleep on the couch."

"No, hyung, you don't have to, I can sleep on the couch." Jimin really hated burdening people, especially by taking a luxury from them just because of him.

"It's okay, I've slept on that couch a lot, it's actually somewhat more comfy than my bed. Also, do you have any pajama's?"

"O-Oh, no, I didn't bring any. Sorry, hyung."

"It's okay, I got something you can wear." Yoongi chuckled slightly before he slipped into his room to get some clothes for Jimin and a blanket for himself, "Here, wear this. I'll wake you up at about 7, okay?"

"Yeah, okay, thank you hyung." Jimin replied as he padded to Yoongi's room.
