Annie

Moments like is what causes me to feel a trepidation.

He's been watching. Waiting.

"Why would he trust a guy that betrayed him before?" I paced back and forth. He can't take her again. What is it with this family and their issues? It's been years.

"Thats confidential, even I, don't know. Just make sure to keep Blythe safe Annie, until I take her. He's been watching our every move so it will take months till I bring her to the mansion." The guy in the black suit says, delivering the message as precise as his master have commanded him to do. His deep serious voice echoing the silent room. Our conversation has reached it's end, but this doesn't mean the last part of it was the outmost important of all.

I sighed.

Perhaps its time to let Blythe know...but not today. It's been hard to compensate for my inability to answer Blythe's questions. She doesn't mouth it out, but I know many had been ringing in her head throughout the years. If her parents really died or abandoned her? If she had relatives out there? What her true identity is?
She has to find out for herself.

"Tell him he has no problem with that, Dylan. After all, Blythe isn't much of a handful ever since" I replied, seemingly out of the right words to say. With that, he nodded and left.

Vic

I swing my backpack onto my shoulders, turning to leave the house at once. I can't be late. I walk hurriedly, passing by the streets and going straight ahead into the familiar ones where I'm supposed to go.

Jumping through the fences and into the back yard. I hesitantly knocked on the wooden door as soon as I set foot the garage's back.
Jaime answered with a wide smile and let me inside.

"Dude, what took you so long? Tony already came up with some riffs and went out to buy some new amps." Mike says looking up at once from his drum kit upon hearing my entrance. I shrugged, not knowing what to say but somewhat excited to actually tell them.

"Taylor Momsen happened." The name left my mouth, leaving an idiotic smile against my face. I sat down the couch with them exchanging glances at each other.

"Wow Vic, from zero to near-oh" Jaime teases, elbowing me as he sits down on the couch. His eyebrow raised and his face longing to know more.

"Go on tell us!" My brother added making me shrug.

"Uh I don't know...she's just throwing this huge party, handing out flyers and shit. I was walking by the lockers when all of a sudden she called me out, so I turned and she told me to spread the word-" I paused, recalling what has happened at school earlier before I went home. This is exciting.

"And?" Jaime and Mike said in unison. They're all ears for this.

"She kinda asked me if we can play some of our songs?" The words came out of my mouth sounding like a question. I don't know why I said yes to her even though I haven't asked the band yet. I'm screwed.

"Did you accept it then?" Mike blankly looked at me, straight in the eyes. I can't figure out what's on his mind. I grind my teeth.

"Yes..." I looked away. He's gonna scold me alright. I feel so dumbfounded around that girl.

"Dude, you know we're still up for battle of the bands next weekend. We can't fucking lose to Sleeping with sirens! Those guys are fucking cocky" He says exhaling deeply, with matching annoyance in his voice. Tony comes in with the supplies and what I reckon is chips and burgers in the paper bag.
