I wake up to a loud beeping sound. I open my eyes and see a white celling. I groan and cover my eyes from the light. I once again open my eyes and notice a needle in my arm. Ugh, I hate needles. I take it carefully out and the beeping stops. I stand up and I mutter curse words under my breath as I notice that all Im wearing is a white hospital gown. I look around the room and notice that there isn't much to it. There is a small TV and a sofa  in a corner and a closet. I move towards it and open it. Finally some clothes. I take out my black leggings and a red sweater, I also notice my shoes by my bed. I dress up and move towards a door that will hopefully lead me to an exit. I slowly open it and all I hear is shouting. There is chaos all over the hospital. The doctors are running up and down the hallway with nurses following them. There is a bunch of blood everywhere. There are people just crying on the floor. I move towards a woman that is quietly watching everything unfold.

"Do you know what happend?" I ask her softly. She looks at me and whispers something. I crouch next to her and put my hand on her shoulder. "What? I didn't hear you, sorry." She grabs my hand and says with wide eyes "Alpha Caim!" I move out of her reach and gasp. This is all his fault? Why would he do something like that to his pack? Before I can ask her anymore questions she stands up and runs through the hallway. I sigh and start walking towards an exit.

I open the door and the time stands still. There in all his might is a huge black wolf with piercing grey eyes. Many men are gathered around him trying to calm him down. It's Caim. He's the huge black wolf with piercing grey eyes. I gasp in shock and as if he stiffens. He looks straight at me. He snarls at the men and they all turn their eyes at me. The beta starts screaming that I should leave. I move my head from the wolf to the beta. Caim is slowly moving towards me as if he is afraid he will scare me. I don't think I can get any more scared as this. Then I suddenly have a flashback.

My mom always told me that once I find my mate, he will be the center of my universe. That once he is hurt I will too be hurting. She always told me that a mateless wolf is a broken wolf. But she also told me that the best way to calm down your mate is to shift in your wolf with him.

I have to stop this madness. I start shifting in my wolf. The change itself is painless but it's kinda hard getting used to the uncomfortable feeling. I stand proudly on my four legs and look at Caim. His back is turned to me as he is trying to protect me from the men. I bark playfully at him and nip his leg. He looks at me and gives me a wolf smirk. Suddenly it seems as if everything is turned from anger to playfullness. We run and play together. I notice that all men have a shocked look on their faces. I bark at them to shift. Every scream filled with pain seems to be forgoten, every ounce of blood spilled as well.

We run together as a pack. There are still some glares sent our way but we ignore them. We are happy that we are together, as mates, pack and heart. Caim suddenly stops by a cliff and moves to the peak of it. He motions for me to come over there. I sit next to him and he starts howling, I join him.

After a couple of minutes it seems as if every member of our pack, no matter where they are is howling.

It has been 3 months since I last updated this book. And I am truly sorry for that. And since I am so sorry I decided to write another book. It's called The Devil's guide. I'd be really glad if you could check it out!

As always Xoxo, Zala!
