Thomas P.O.V
She never saw me as I stood on the other side of the deck. I kept stealing glances at her to make sure it was Olivia Stone, but they were quick glances. I was afraid she would notice me quickly and my cover would have been ruined, Elijah would have beat me to the damn floor if I was caught. That man had done a lot for me since the last time I saw Olivia and I owed him my life and obedience.
She was as beautiful as the last time I saw her, her long brown hair flowing in the wind and her eyes sparkling as the sunset before her. She wore blue jeans and purple shirt with a black leather jacket, her worn leather boots she wore. I would bet she had a gun at her waist band and the knife was still in her boots. She was calm as she watched the horizon, not worried about anything. Just like it was her and the ocean all alone.
However, that's when I saw the girl approach Olivia. She was a beautiful red headed girl with clear crystal blue eyes, skinny and tall with a pink windbreaker on and jeans with boots as well. I was confused about who the girl was, but that was when I realized that it was Olivia's younger sister Kali. Her beauty stunned me, I had never met until now, Olivia never invited us to her house because they moved around so much that they did not want people knowing where they lived. My eyes slowly staring at her as my heart did a dance in my chest, something I had not felt since I was with Olivia. It was like I was hypnotized by the way she walked and her voice was memorizing as she spoke, I was completely transfixed on her and nothing else. However, I had to break my gaze as they turned around.
I could feel my eyes widen as I turned away from them, tipping my ball cap lower to remain unseen. Eventually the two walked off the deck toward the cabins, discussing what was for dinner. I blew a breathe of relief as I looked around, I was finally alone.
My mission was very simple, it was to kill the captain and take command of the ship. Once I did that, Elijah and his men would storm the cabins and move everybody to one room to hold them hostage. However, I didn't realize that Olivia brought her sister with her. It was suppose to be agents only and that was why Elijah decided to target the ship, he wanted to take down Agent Frostbyte.
Agent Frostbyte is the infamous woman who is responsible for the proceeding of taking down the criminals of The Underground. Granted, I do know that Olivia is Agent Frostbyte, but I never told Elijah and the other crime bosses that much detail of the CIA. I figured it would be a much sweeter revenge when I revealed at the very end who she was before she died. I would be the one to take her life like she took away mine.
I was agent myself for years, I was Agent Thomas Westbrook, aka Phantom. I fought a long side Olivia since she had first started with the CIA, but one night she betrayed me. We were on a mission in Mississippi, when we chased a criminal into a abandoned building and he blew up the whole second floor. We ran toward the window to jump out of, but I tripped and fell to the floor. I saw her jump out the window, then the next thing I knew the floor gave way and I went with it. I was buried under rubble until Elijah came and saved me. Since then, I have wanted to take down Olivia and her colleagues for leaving me behind to die.
It tore me apart inside that she left me there to die, I was in love with her. We were the dynamic couple everybody talked about and she and I were always there for each other. She was my heart.
I shook my head of those thoughts and stepped away from the railing of the boat, my love for her is in the past now.
I turned away from the setting sun and walked up the stairs, the ship was built more like a naval airship then a yacht for the CIA. It was composed of four levels, the top level was the bridge and the captain's quarters along with the head CIA agents and Director William Kane. Olivia and Kali's room would be up on the top level.
The second and third level was where the deck and the rest of the quarters for the other agents, including the mess hall as well. Finally, the fourth level was the engine room, engine control room and the ship's headquarters for the CIA. Like I said, it was built like a naval ship.
I quickly ran up the steps and to the bridge, the captain was no where in sight. I tried to turn the knob on the door, however it was locked.
I cursed under my breathe and looked around quickly, looking for anybody that was around. Swiftly, I kicked the door in and entered the room.
The room was all ground to ceiling windows with the control panel in the middle of the room to control the ship, however that was only part of the control panel. The control room was hidden somewhere in the ship where nobody could discover it and it was run by the CIA's finest naval officers, the only way to get them to stop the ship was hearing it from the captain himself.
However, I knew it well enough to slow down the ship to a crawl without inference from the naval officers and lock the whole ship down. It was just two buttons: one blue and one red.
The red would lock down the whole ship and keep the naval officers and the director locked in the control room until Elijah and his men are finished with the job. The blue button slows the ship down that it was almost standing still in the water. However, it was emergency buttons and would only give them four hours to hold the ship down and get the job done.
I walked over to the panel and looked at the two buttons. I rethought over what I was about to do, it was complete treason what he was about to do and I would live my life on the run. However, I am just a ghost now of the CIA's past and I was coming back to haunt them.
I shook my head and slammed my hand onto the buttons; the ship jerked forward and I lost my balance, falling to the floor. I laughed evilly as I stood back up.
A rush of footsteps could be heard from the hallway connecting the bridge to the first level of the ship, I quickly hid behind the door and waited for the footsteps to enter the room. Of course, it was the captain and another man walked into the the room.
"What the fuck just happened?" The captain roared.
I recognized that voice anyway, it was my old colleague and long time best friend Ben Winters. I stared at him wide eyed and in shock, my best friend was the captain of the ship and I had to kill him. He had not changed much since I last saw him, he was tall and thin, but with a lot of muscle. He had short black hair and glasses, his facial expressions were more blank then any other emotion. You could not read his expressions or tried to figure out what he was thinking, he was built and acted like a brick wall.
Ben kept looking around with the other man in the room, cursing slightly as he fumbled with the controls. Before he could press the two buttons I pushed, I pulled my gun out of my waist band and pointing it at him, taking the safety off. The cock of the gun made both Ben and the other man stand still, Ben turned around slowly toward me. His eyes widen as he saw my face, the shock of seeing me has frighten him.
"Thomas?" He asked frightfully.
"Hello Ben." I said as I kept the gun pointed at him.
"How are you alive?" He asked. "You were suppose to be dead, I watched that building collapse! You were in it!"
"You did not look enough Ben." I said coldly. "I did not die in that building collapse. None of you looked for me after the collapse, you were to worried about finding Elijah."
Ben shook his head. "There was no way we could have Thomas. The rubble was to deep and you were on the third floor when the building gave way! There was six floors Thomas! We could have not saved you."
"You did not try hard enough Ben!" I yelled, my fury starting to overwhelm me. "None of you tried hard enough, you could have saved me. You left me to suffer and die under that rubble, at least somebody had to courage to save me for an awful death."
"Who, Thomas?" Ben asked
I laughed as I walked forward, pointing the gun at his head. I quickly turned the gun on the man standing next him and pulled the trigger, the man falling to the floor.
Ben jumped and yelped, scarring him at the sudden gunshot. He stared wide eyed at his partner on the floor.
"What the hell Thomas!" Ben screamed as he fell to his knees to check on the man. I pointed my gun back at him and cocked it again, he raised his hands as he looked up at me in fear.
"Listen up Ben, here is what you are going to do." I stated. "I will take you down this hall and lock you in one of the rooms. When they come for you and ask if you are the captain, you will say no. From now on, this man dead beside you is the captain of this ship. I want you to live through this ordeal because unlike you, I am loyal to my friends and will save them at any cost."
Ben shook his head. "Go to hell Thomas." He stated. "I did everything to convince them to go back. You are a traitor now, Thomas."
"I rather be a traitor then apart of the CIA again." I said as I flipped the gun and hit him in the side of the head with the end of the gun. "And it's Ghost now."
