"I met my husband, Booth, when I was 16, and was he now irritating!" Ruth, we found out that the lady at the dinner's name was Ruth, continued. Her husband, Booth came in later that evening and joined us inside.

Ruth said we could stay over if we liked, she had a few extra rooms since her sons moved out. We were far from denying the of sleeping in beds.

"But I was very handsome," Booth said and kissed his wife on the cheek.

"True, but you were still irritating," she said and smiled at us. The four of us were lounging in their very spacious living room.

"I was only 18, though, and any girl with your mind set would've thought I was annoying," Booth said again. I could help smiling through their stories. They had lid the fireplace, since the temperature had dropped so dramatically.

After all the stories, Booth took the boys one side and Gemma and I went with Ruth.

"Now, Ally, as I can see you're engaged, and I bet my buttons, you're engaged to that handsome young man Keith," Ruth said and smiled widely.

"Your right," I said and felt myself blushing.

"Why don't the two of you come here for a second," she said and led us to her bedroom. I didn't know what to expect, but she clearly had plans.

"Now, I only have boys, so I couldn't share these kind of things with them," she said while opening and fiddling in her closet. She pulled out a shoebox and handed it to Gemma. Gemma gently placed it on the bed. The next thing Ruth pulled out was a big box. She walked with the box towards the bed.

Gemma and I curiously looked over Ruth's shoulders to see what's inside the box. I let out a gasp once Ruth pulled the lid off and removed the paper.

Inside laid one of the most beautiful wedding dresses ever. Ruth took it out and held it against her.

"This was mine," she said proudly. It was stunning. Snow white with flowers across the neck line. It flowed towards the floor. The back piece of the dress was even more stunning. It was a open back and was lined with the same flowers as the front. Ruth smiled sweetly at me before holding it against me.

"Try it on, please," she said and I couldn't deny it. I quickly took off my clothes and Gemma and Ruth helped me slip on the dress. It sat perfectly.

"Fits like a glove," Ruth said and moved towards the shoebox. She removed the lid and the papers from that box before taking out a pair of beautiful shoes that matched.

"Are you a size 7?" Ruth asked and I nodded. I sat on the edge of the bed and took my socks off. Gemma slipped the shoes on and helped me stand up. It wasn't very high heels but it was very comfortable.

"There we go!" Ruth said and smile widely. She had little crows feet beside both her eyes. I moved to take a look in the mirror. The dress was beautiful and sat perfect.

"What do you think, Gemma?" Ruth asked Gemma who seemed to be crying.

"Aww Ally! You look so beautiful! Shit, I'm crying," Gemma said and I could help but hug her. Ruth held my shoulders and looked over my shoulders in to the mirror.

"I want you to have it," she said and smiled.

"Oh no! I can't!" I said and twirled around.

"Yes you can! My boys are going to wear it and I won't be a granny soon! Plus, it would make me so happy!" She said insistently. I didn't have the heart to say no. I hugged her tightly.

"Thank you so much," I said and it hit me, "7 November."

"What?" Ruth asked confused.

"That'll be the day of our wedding and I would like you and Booth to come," I said. Ruth smiled widely and I hugged her again.

The two of them helped me out of my wedding dress. I slipped on my clothes before placing my dress in to my box. I placed my shoes in to their box. Gemma helped me carry the boxes towards the room that Keith and I were sharing tonight.

We said night to Ruth and Booth before going off to bed.

I took a relaxing shower and walked out of the bathroom to find Keith walking in to the room.

"What's in the box?" He asked. My eyes grew wide.

"Tell me you didn't peek!" I demanded.

"I promise, I didn't! What's in it?" He asked again.

"The 7th November you'll see," I said and kissed him on his cheek.

"What's happening the 7th of November?" Keith asked confused.

"Our wedding day, and the anniversary of when we first started actually dating," I said and bit my lip.

"It's perfect," Keith said and kissed the tip of my nose.

That night, I dreamed of myself walking down the aisle with my wedding dress, to find my soon to be husband at the end, waiting, to marry me.
