Do You believe in Santa? ✔

Chapter 6

The following morning Alexis runs into her brothers room. She quickly shoves him awake. "What the..?".

Daniel rubs his eyes and quickly comes around waking up suddenly. "What the hell are you doing in my bedroom?."

Alexis sighs "Never mind that..Last night I had a real bad dream."

Daniel sighs sleepily "We all have bad dreams big deal.."

Alexis protests "But.."

Daniel snaps "Can I go back to sleep now?."

Alexis runs back into her room. Is this karma now?, Her comeuppance after being mean all these years?. These questions swirl around her head. "This is stupid.. Just go back to sleep."

"It's just a dream.. It's not like your going to have anymore."

Scared of falling asleep she eventually closes her eyes.

A few hours later and it's time to get ready for school.
Daniel knocks on her door. "Hey sis.. Any more dreams?." He laughs at her.

She frowns "It's really not funny.. I was actually really scared."

Daniel grins "Pfft.. You never get scared.. Must've been seriously scary to scare you then."

Alexis nodded "Obviously.."

They head downstairs for breakfast when there is a knock at the door.

Helen sighs "Alexis go and answer the door please."
Alexis groans "Why can't he do it?."

Helen snaps "Just do as your bloody well told will you?!.

"Alright alright keep your hair on!." Alexis grins at her mother. She walks towards the door and opens it.

It's her father Jonas. "Hello sweetheart."

Alexis frowns meanly "I'm not your sweetheart or your daughter.. The quicker you realise you not wanted here the better."

He grins "Oh come on.. No need to be like that.. I know I haven't exactly been the best father..."

Alexis snorts "That's an understatement."

"But I do want to be better... "

Alexis rolls her eyes at him. "Whatever.." She slams the door in his face.

Her mother yells at her "How rude.. I know you don't think much of your father and neither do I but that was uncalled for."

Daniel looks at Alexis. "Come on sis.. We have to give him another chance sooner or later."

Alexis moves straight in his face. "You do what you want..I want nothing to do with him."

Alexis and Daniel was just about to grab their bags and go through the door when a letter comes through the letter box.

Daniel Reads the letter,
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to inform you of your custody court case which will be on 14th of October 2015.

It is vital you attend this court case as this case on the 14th of October will be the pre hearing.

I must advise you, if you do not have a lawyer or solicitor to hire one now.

Daniel bites his lip. "Mum you'd better see this." Helen snatches the letter off him.

Helen looks at Alexis "Looks like your father really meant it.. He's really going for custody."

Helen sits down in her chair slumped. Daniel comforts his mother. "Mum it's not the end of the world.."

His mum blanks him staring into space.

Alexis and Daniel leave her to it and walk to school. "Sis I'm really worried about mum."

Alexis shrugs. "If push comes to shove.. Id rather live with mum."

Daniel groans "You really hate him that much?!."
Alexis shrugs and nodded at the same time.

Suddenly Alexis collapses out of nowhere.

Daniel shoves her calling her name "Alexis Wake up.. Are you alright?!

Unable to get a response from her Daniel calls an ambulance. "Ambulance please it's my sister!"
Ambulance caller: "It's okay an ambulance is on its way to you now.

Alexis vision is blurred and suddenly goes black.

She's back in the same place as her dreams. She looks around fire everywhere and people screaming in pain.

The devil aka Hades looks at her "Don't believe in Santa eh?.." He smiles evily. "Do you know what happens to unbelievers Alexis?."

She Stutters "No...How do you know my name?."

He grins "I know everything about you Alexis and now your going to see what happens to unbelievers like you."

Alexis kicks and screams as the Devil reaches out for her with a gigantic hand.

Suddenly surrounded by ambulance technicians and her brother. Her view starts to come into focus.
A female ambulance worker looks at her "Ah your back with us I see.. Are you in any Pain anywhere?."

Alexis shakes her head. Daniel reaches for his sisters hand "You were screaming.. Are you okay?."

Alexis nods "I'm fine.. There's nothing wrong with me, I'm sorry for wasting your time.

The ambulance technician smiles. "That may be dear but you hit your head on the pavement so we need to take you to hospital incase of a brain injury".

Alexis groans "But...can't I just go home?."
Daniel sighs "Alexis just let them take care of you they know what they are doing."

Alexis is bundled into the ambulance and as the ambulance leaves the scene of the accident Alexis hears a very loud intimidating laughter echoing inside her head or was it in her head? She screams "No No No!!!!"
The ambulance technician tries to calm her down. But when that fails she turns to Daniel "I'm sorry sweetheart but we are going  to have to put her to sleep to calm her down.. Would you mind helping?."

Daniel holds her down whilst Alexis thrashers around kicking and screaming. As the injection goes in and starts to take hold. Her eyes slowly turn black but just before she blacks out, she sees the devil at the end of her bed.
