Stitches

Over the last weeks of summer, Ashton regretted breaking up with Luke as he missed their late night conversations, he also missed when Luke would crawl into his bedroom and comfort him at night especially when his brother went a little too far. Meanwhile, although Luke was upset that they had broken off their relationship, he was more concerned of Ashton's safety. That didn't stop Luke from getting involved in the basketball team though, instantly hitting off a friendship with the captain and vice captain, Michael and Calum.

As Monday morning came around, Ashton sluggishly walked over to his bedroom table, turning off his alarm which was blasting Fall Out Boy's 'Centuries.' After turning it off, he made sure to hop into the shower and get changed into a burgundy sweater, black skinny jeans and to top off his look, his glasses. He picked up his phone and started to type a good morning text to Luke, although they were no longer in a relationship together, Ashton wanted to make sure that Luke was actually going to be getting up today. He was about to press send when his phone was snatched from his hands.

"What do we have here then, Ash." 

Thomas, his brother stood behind him with the phone held high so that Ashton would be unable to reach it. Thomas shoved him backwards, resulting in Ashton becoming a heap on the floor, holding his head from the impact. Thomas rolled his eyes as he read over the message.

"What have I told you about texting Pukey Lukey?! I thought I told you to break up with him! Did you disobey me once again Ashton?!"

Thomas practically screamed in Ashton's face causing the younger boy to whimper and back away slowly, not getting very far once he realised he was now pressed against the wall. He wrapped his arms around his head, not wanting for Thomas to hurt him anymore than he had done.

"I-I promise. I-I've broken up with him. J-just like you said."

The hurt and sadness was evident in Ashton's voice but Thomas didn't seem to mind. He once again rolled his eyes before throwing the phone back to Ash and leaving the room.

Ashton picked himself up and wiped the tears that had fallen down his face. He walked downstairs and grabbed his bag before running out of the house and to school. He wasn't feeling up to eating breakfast that morning. Mind you, he hadn't actually eaten in about two days now and sure he was hungry but he felt it would benefit him if he didn't eat for a while.

As soon as Ashton got to school, he started looking around for Luke, he felt a small ache in his chest when he saw him laughing and joking around with Michael and Calum. He sighed to himself before just walking in and hoping to just get the day over and done with without any complications.

Although Ashton didn't know that his life was about to get even more complicated.

Ew. Sorry if this is terrible. I'm writing this on my phone since my laptop is broken but yeah. Urm, how are you guys that are actually reading it and leaving great comments finding this book? I promise it will get more interesting throughout the duration of the book I promise. If you hadn't guessed by now, Thomas, Ashton's brother is abusive towards him and doesn't support gays so he made Ash break up with Luke or he threatened to make Luke's life hell. Yeah, sorry again if this sucks. I'll probably update within the next couple of days. Again, sorry for the suckish chapter and how short it is...
