Chapter 4

Kev POV ✨

I head towards the boys while she puts her hair in ponytail.

"Yeah so you see that Shawty right there." I said to the boys amped.

"Yeah Why wassup? " my boy pryce said giving me that "I see you" face.

"Yeah umm I told her she can play with us."

"Woahh" they all say in a sync.

"C'mon guys." she probably made nice at ball.

"Maann your lucky she Hella cute." pryce said.

"I know right!! "

"Ayeee Kev got the juice" Dev said

"Ayee nbs." they started to say dapping me up.

I turn around to see her standing right behind us stretching her arms.

"Alright so we play shirts and skin's. "

"Kay "

"Alright so it's you, Pryce and Jevon against me, Devin and Daniel. "

I sat the ball down in between my feet, took of my shirt and threw it to the side of the court. From the corner of my eye I saw her checking me out. I couldn't do nothing but smile.

Nyasia POV ✨

Dammnnn Kevin is Hella fine. But you know I gotta play it cool.

"We get ball first " I say holding out my hands.

"Nahh Shawty we shoot for ball" Kev said as he licked his bottom lip.

"Aight lemme see."

He passed me ball. I go behind the three point line right in front of the basket.

"You can shoot inside line Shawty " one if his boys said.

I ignored his suggestion and shot the ball. It went straight in. You can even here the noise the net made when it went in.

I looked at Kevin again and said "We got ball first."

He gave me the ball. At first Devin came up saying he was guarding me but Kev told him to get someone else.

I look at Kevin confused. "What I just want to show you how good my D is. "

All his boys laugh. And he just staring at me with his gorgeous eyes. I pass the ball back to him. "Check up"

As soon as I got it I cross Kevin over and pass it to Jevon and he scored.

"Wheres the D?" I said with my arms up.

His boys laughed.

"Come back to my room and ill show you."

I couldn't do nothing but laugh with his boys at his dirty comment.

"Yeah.. Not a chance. "

"ooooohhhh" his boys say in a sync.

"Just wait on it" Kev said winking at me and giving me back the ball.

The game is tied 20- 20. My team got the ball. I only scored 6 points not trying to be a ball hogger. But its alright cause the boys know how good I am. I made Kevin stumble a few times already.

"Alright guys this is game." Kev said pulling his shorts up.

Pryce had the ball this time. He could not get Daniel off of him, so he just passed it to me.

Kev was playing really good defense on me. But not good enough.
I dribble couple times on my right then crossed between my legs, went around the back, went back around the back, making Kev fall and shot it.

It went in.

His boys fell to the floor laughing cause I basically "broke his ankles. "

I went over to him and crouched down. "So girls cant play no ball huh?" A smile came across his face as he rolled his eyes.

I got up and walked to my bag. His boys came dapping me up and giving me hugs saying good game.

Kevin POV ✨

Best believe I will never underestimate a girl ever again. I got up and went and got my shirt and headed towards the other side of the gym where everyone else was at.

I look at Shawty. She sitting down talking to the boys. Damn she mad cute.

I finally get close enough to hear their conversation.

"Soooo what is your name?" Jevon said.

We all looked at her curious.

"Nyasia"

"Well Nyasia" Pryce said standing up "you gotta play ball with us again sometime."

"Oh all of sudden im good enough?"

"Hah yeah we sorry for underestimating you. " Jevon said

"So what do you say?" Daniel says

"mmm sure."

I was so relived when she said yes. I can finally talk to her and get to know her.

Everyone exchanged numbers. In her phone I put KevieKev with a basketball emoji and heart eyes. Yeah im slick.

We all walk out the gym together me and her last tho. I hold the door open for her. Damn I love the way she walks. She turned to around to catch me staring.

"You like what you see?" She said flirting.

"Of course baby girl."

"Yeah well stop looking. Im taking already."

"Really by who?"

Her friend that Daniel has been checking out came from the field.

"Hey girl."

"Hey baby" she says to her friend dramatically.

"Oh so you are gonna take her over me?"

"Any day." she says all confindent

"We will see Ms. baller " I said as I walked out the door to the parking lot.
