-Flashback ended -
I woke in cold sweat and tears. I had that dream so many times before but this time it felt so real. I grabbed the blanket and prepared for the worst. I threw the blanket off and looked at my legs. There were still there, but they were so pale, like cold white snow. I looked at my left arm, no scars or cuts, only pale white skin. I flung my legs over the bed and stretched and yawned. I placed my feet on the floor to get up but my right leg wouldn't move. I toppled over and landed on my hands. I expected the pain to come because I had to of gotten splinters from the old wood flooring. The pain never came, but splinters in my hand fell to the ground. "What the bloody hell?"
