As I walked through the snow I looked at the unfamiliar yet familiar surroundings. Shinshi told me to get out of the house for a while, and that him and his group were going on an 'adventure' god knows where, and that I could clean the house when they left because he knew I wanted to. I snickered, he grew up to fast. 'I wonder how his brothers are doing?' I bet their slacken' off like always. I tail was wagging, I laughed at that. I could never fully hide my feelings because of me being part snow wolf. I do like it, but it did come at a cost. My eyes will for ever be silver like my hair and my skin is snow white. You could say I was cursed by the snow. I tilted my head back to look at the stars leaking in through the treetops. It was beautiful "you don't see things like this in the city do you?" "Nope, not really the lights are always on" I knew he was coming but seriously do you have to do that? I scowled at him. "We're leaving, I left the tools in the shed." He petted my head. "Looks like I'm taller this time" I snickered. "Yeah but I'm still older, so get any ideas, kid." I looked back up, looking at the moon this time. "Do you miss your home?" He knew this was touching question but I answered with a soft 'yes'. I closed my eyes as a gust of wind blew through the trees. "Yes, I do miss my home, but" I looked over to him. "I'll stick with this place for now, Shinshi." Nights like this. Yeah just like this. Made me feel happy for once in my life. Made me forget 'the truth behind my eyes.'
