Today's the day we leave the sewers and get to the bridge. Ivy slings her sword over her shoulder and I shove my gun into its holster. "Ivy I know it's been hard but I need you "her silence is the only thing that reaches my ear. James approaches zek and they start yelling at each other, so I get in the middle putting my arms in between them "what the hell is going on ",zek steps forward "he wants me to stay behind, he says that all I'll do is drag everyone behind "rage seeps through me. I get into James face "if he stays behind, you really think I'm leaving without him"?he doesn't protest and I speak again "your not the enemy, ivys not, zeks not, Munch is and you need to enforce that because I'm tired of seeing everyone die around me ".his eyes trail at the ground and I walk towards Ivy "night is coming and well,we'll be half way to the bridge ",she stands and extends my hand until it's flat. She puts an extra magnum in it "extra,your safety comes first",I hug her without hesitation and place it back inti her pocket "I have 3 and you'll need it more than me ".she squeezes it in her hand,while we walk to toward the door zek grabs my shoulder spinning me around and planting his lips on mine "just in case we don't make it out ".my jaw drops and I can't believe it.... a man kissed me,he really kissed me.
I walk away blushing under Ivy's arm " what's wrong"?she asks and I hide it and continue to move forwards "Ivy I swear that I'm fine and you know that" she doesn't speak a word,but just walks and looks forward.
That night I approach Zek handing him some food "I found this earlier today and I knew that you were hungry soooo" he smiles but declines"Lucy you need this food more than I do,you need to keep you strength ". It still amazes me that he cares.
That morning I awoke to another feud between James and Ivy " what the fuck"??!!!??I scream and they stop really quickly "when can you two just learn to fucking get along,when I first saw you guys together you were friends and now I'm playing therapist which in our situation isn't the best position".
They silent down and back off to where now we get ready and now it's time to leave.
