Sat down in the booth, putting away my credit card. I had just ordered us a half cheese, half meat lovers pizza.

"Luke how many time do I have to tell you to stop buying me stuff," Meghan whined.

"Forever. Meghan, I'm rich. Buying you stuff won't even begin to touch the amount of money I have," I sighed. We'd been talking about this for years.

"But Luke. I'm not worth you're money. Spend it on something more important."

"Meghan don't you ever say that. You are that most incredible person I know, and you are worth more than any amount of money in the world," I said, grabbing her hand. She smiled.

"Luke, I have to tell you something," Meghan said nervously.

"Go ahead," I smiled.

"I-I think I-," she muttered, "I'm sorry Luke. I can't do this."

"Were you trying to say this?" I asked.

"What?" she asked.

"This."

And then our pizza arrived. Damn. It smelled good.

"Luke can we talk about this later? This pizza looks really good," she smiled. I couldn't help but join her.

"Of course," I said, grabbing a slice.

I watched Meghan and smiled.

Meghan Taylor White had captivated me. She had long brown hair that went about halfway down her back. It was pink at the ends that turned into purple and then faded into her brown.

Meghan had a tattoo on her ribcage that said, 'Look for the girl with the broken smile.  Ask her if she'd like to stay a while.'  She had two piercings in her left ear, and three in her right. Everything about Meghan was perfect. And she had such a strong hold on my heart that not even a Victoria's Secret Angel made me look twice. I was in love with my best friend, and it was more than I could handle. But I'd go through it every day, because it meant I saw her everyday, and I got to spend time with her. Michael kept claiming she was in love with me, but I think he was just trying to make me feel better.

"You okay Luke?" Meghan asked.

"Yeah. Just thinking," I smiled.

"Okay."

I took a bite of my pizza, thinking hard. I had to tell her. But not right now. That could be saved for another day.

"Hey Luke?"

"Yeah."

"What-" this time we were cut of by the door flying open.

"Well look who the wind blew in," Meghan snapped, glaring at my ex.

"Hello Lukey," Hanna said, completely ignoring Meghan, and instead touching my hand. I pulled it away.

"What are you doing here?" she smiled innocently.

"Um spending time with my friend," I said, gesturing to Meghan.

"Oh her."

"Yeah her."

"I don't under stand why you'd dump me to hang out with that loser. I mean, I'm perfect," she sneered.

"Um maybe because I don't like you," I sighed.

"I suggest you leave now," Meghan snapped.

"Oh you poor love sick fool. He doesn't like you back. You have no chance with him. Especially since he obviously still loves me.

"Oh go fuck yourself," Meghan snapped.

"You bitch," she cried, stalking away.

I burst out laughing.

"I can't believe you dated her," Meghan giggled.

"Me either."
