Chapter Thirty-Nine

*Skylight's POV*

*Warning: may be a little sad*

I woke up next to Bruno. I looked over at the time and it was 2 oclock. I slowly got up so I didn't wake him up. I walked out of the room silently. I walked over to the fridge and grabbed a water bottle. I walked out onto the balcony and sat down in a chair. I thought about the memories I had with my mom, Carter, and Kelsey. I can't believe they are gone. I started worrying that Bruno might be next to be gone. I took a sip of water. I thought about how Mack could be out to hurt me. Tears started pouring down my face. I felt so sad that I didn't know what to do. I felt something touch my shoulder and I jumped. I was so scared that when I jumped, my water bottle went flying over the balcony. I turned around and Bruno was standing there. "Oh my god you scared me. What is wrong with you?" I shouted. Bruno flinched at my voice. "I...I'm sorry. I wanted to see if you were okay." Tears poured down my face. "I..I am so sorry Bruno." He opened his arms out and I ran over to him and hugged him tightly. He hugged me tightly too as my cries grew louder. Bruno's breathing was uneven. I looked up at him and tears were rolling down his face. "D..Don't cry Bruno." "I can't help it. It hurts that you are hurting inside." I wiped Bruno's tears. "I'll be fine." I turned around and walked over to the railing. The top of the railing was thick. I stood up on top of it. I looked at Bruno. "This pain it's.." I couldn't finish my sentence. "Sky please don't." "Everyone will be better if I'm gone." I took a step backwards. "Sky please," Bruno said, tears pouring down his face. "Mommy what's going on?" Olivia asked. "Get back to bed hunny," I said. Olivia looked at Bruno then back at me. "Mommy please get down." "No." Bruno walked over to me. "Babe please. I love you so much. Think of the pain you will put me in." "Mack will just come and kill me why don't I do it for her?" "Love, all this emotions are getting to you. I know you don't wanna." "I just..." I took a step backwards by accident and I fell. My heart was beating fast. I was just hanging there. I looked up and Bruno was holding my arm with both hands. He lifted me up onto the balcony. I was shaking. Bruno wrapped his arms around me. "You're okay," He said, putting his head on top of mine. My cries were loud. "Mommy?" Olivia asked. I looked down at Olivia. "Who do I need to beat up? I'm not afraid to pop someone's head off," Olivia said with the funniest face. I laughed a little. "I love you Olivia," I said, leaning my head against Bruno. "I love you too mommy." I kneeled down and hugged Olivia, I picked her up and we walked inside. We walked into our room and I placed her down on a bed next to me and Bruno's bed. I laid down in bed. Bruno laid down next to me. "I love you so much," Bruno said, looking into my eyes. I smiled. "I love you so much too," I said. He kissed my lips. "Wake me up if you need help. Don't be afraid to come to me. Even if it's 30 minutes from now. I will always be here for you. Whenever you want it." I smiled. "Thank you Bruno." He kissed my forehead then wrapped his arms around me. "Goodnight my darling." "Goodnight Bruno." I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
