Rachels pov :
I was down stairs doing the dishes when I heard singing from the bathroom . I walked over and leaned on the door to hear Sophia singing in the shower . She had a really beautiful voice. "Hey what are you doing?" Zack asked me. "Shhh..." I said. "What?" He asked me. "Listen." I said. He leaned up against the door and we listened to her sing:
(Sophia)
You shout it out,
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud, not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up
I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose

(Rachel takes ear off door)
"She's really good." I said suprised. "Well what did you expect she is your child. " He said. Suddenly the door opened and Zack and I moved quickly. "What are you guys doing? " Sophia asked us in a bath robe . "Oh just talking." I said. "Okay." She said confused and left. "Sophia dinner!" I yelled half an hour later. We all sat down and ate dinner . "So Sophia did you know that theres a glee club at McKinley?" I asked her. "Nope." She said eating her pizza. "Oh well ya know Sam runs it an I'm sure he would love to have you in it." I said . "No thanks glee clubs not really interesting to me." I said. "Why not?" I asked. "Its glee club all you do is sing showtunes." She said. "Not true." I said offensively, "Glee club is more than showtunes , you get to make bonds with people you never thought you would plus thats how I got my start." I said. "Well as nice as that sounds Rachel I'll pass ." She said and walked away. I sighed and put my face in my hands , "What am I doing wrong?" I asked Zack. "Nothing. Look she's a teenager she's not really interested in everything you were when you were her age. " He told me. "Look all I know is that glee would be good for her , she needs people other than you, Finn, Chuck, Emily and I . She needs friends." I said. "She has friends and if she wanted more she would get them." He said. "I just wanna help her. " I said. "I know you have good intentions just let Sophia do her thing you can't force her into something. " He told me. I smirked and said , "No I can't, but I can push her towards it." I said and left.
