Chapter 29

The forest was quiet. It was dark like it has been abandon by it's careteaker or its has been curse. Dark shadows lay across the forest floor either dead or dark spirits. Not far away, in a clearing layed a creature, it's colors dull and lifeless, blood spill across the battlefield. The ground was burn, ashes cover the ground like it was snowing.

Then the first rays of sunlight appear in the horizon. The sky slowly lit up in hues or orange, pink, and blue. The light spread across the forest. But it was no ordinary sunlight. It was light of the Great Dragon. The light flew pass the gaint figure, into the forest, towards the dark shadows.

Sky open his eyes slowly. He was deoriented, his head spinning. He got up slowly, his body swaying. What happen? Sky gazed around him. Trees was char or fallen down. The ground wasn't even green anymore. It was black. Sky look up and saw the sky pulsing in gold light. His ears perk up to something. Or someone.

"Sky!" Sky whirlled around. Dark shapes move behnd the trees. "Over here!" Sky called back, blinking as another pulse erupted in the sky. The figures turn toward him and rush over to him. The first one to appear out of the forest was James.

"James!" Sky said, smiling to see a friend's face.

"I found him!" James called out, raising his sceptor up into the air. Green and yellow rings appear and flew up before dispersing into flares.

"This way guys!" A voice shouted above them. The men look up to see the Winx girls, the Specialists flying down to the ground. To Sky's right, the bushes parted, revealing Queen Mariam and King Oritel walking over; each carrying one of their grandchildren.

"Adam! Phoenix!" The young king rushed over. King Oritel handed his grandson toward Stella, who cooed at him, talking babyish.

"They'll live Sky," Riven retorted with a smirk. He receive a glare from Musa. What surprise Rven was that Sky took his baby daughter out of his mother-in-law's arms and put her in Riven's arms.

"Huh?" Riven stared at the sleeping figure in his arms, so helpless... so adorable.

"Then, you hold her," Sky said, patting the Specialist on the shoulder. Musa grin at the baby.

"One day we'll all have little versions of us," she said softly, earning stares from everyone.

"Did we win?" Stella asked wearily, her eyes staring up as another pulse erupted in the sky.

"Bloom won," Aisha said, her eyes watering. The name of their friend quiet everyone's voices and damper their moods. Sky's fists tighten. Sky darted back into the trees, back to the battlefield.

"Sky, wait!" The group ran after Sky as he ran through the forest, pushing branches out of his way until he reach the clearing. Oh god, no! No, no no no! He ran across the scar battle ground to the gaint creature, a dragon. He abruptly stop as another pulse erupted from the sky, shaking the ground. Another pulse erupted, casting golden red light around the dragon.

"No!! Please don't!" Sky cried out in alarm, rushing toward the dragon.

 The dragon's body slowly rose to the air. A human figure was separated from the dragon as it erupted in flames, revealing the Great Dragon.

Sky could hear his friends behind him gasping when they arrive at his side.

"He's freakin' huge!" Nabu declared, staring at the mighty beast.

"Please, don't take her away! Don't take Bloom away from me!" Sky yelled at the flaming dragon.

It is too late for that. She has already made the deal with me. Just like her ancestor, King Kirito made before her. Making a deal with me, they must give up their life to defeat Electra who disbalance Nature itself. She has defeated the sorceress, sending her to the place where she belongs: on the other side of life. The Great Dragon declared, its tail slowly wrapping around Bloom's naked body. Her body reveal gashes, cuts, and blood all over her. Sky wanted to weep. He wanted to scream. Bloom's eyes flew open and stare at her belove with glassy eyes
