Chapter 12

Charlotte

As I am laying in bed that night I hear someone knock on the door. I get up and go downstairs to check and see who it is. As I open the door I see Izzy standing in front of me and I let her in.

"What's going on Izzy? Why did you come here in the middle of the night for?" I ask, worried something happened.

"It's Jordan. He's gone. He disappeared. I went to check on him and he wasn't in bed I need your help please Char." She says, scared out of her my mind.

"Ok just calm down and everything will be alright I promise Izzy. Do you want me to call Dylan or anyone else like Anna?" I say, hoping that she will calm down enough that she will be able to call someone that can help.

"No, they can't find out that he's gone because if they do then they will want to help us and that will put them in danger." She says.

"Ok, well do you have an idea of what might've happened, like who might've taken him or where he would go?" I ask, desperate to find my best friend's brother.

"Well I think I know who took him." She says, sad and nervous, "It has to be the vampires."

"Why would it be- Oh, I know why because your sisters were the ones that started the war and the vampires might want to have revenge against us.  Let's go look for any nearby vampire nests." I say, determined to find him and destroy the nest and kill every one of those fuckers before time runs out.

"Ok where are we gonna go first to look for him?" Izzy asks, determination in her voice.

"We are gonna go to the old high school first, but I don't know any other good places that might have nests in them." I answer, realizing that she is thinking of different places to go look for him.

"Ok, let's go." She says, and I already start forming a plan in my head as we head out the door.

I know this is a really short chapter but I wanted to leave another cliffhanger so that I would have a bit more time to brainstorm for ideas.  I'll ask my friends for ideas if it takes me too long to figure anything out.
