I wake up to see prison bars. I blink, confused for a second, then remember where I am. I sit up quickly, then instantly regret it. I hold my aching head in my hands, groaning. I look out of the bars to see two soldiers guarding my cell.
I scowl and walk to the back of my cell and sit on my bed, thinking of ways to escape my cell. I am pacing in the cell, pondering my escape, when cries of pain echo through the hallway.
I race to the bars and come face to face with none other than Snake Eyes. My eyes widen and I feel a grin spread across my face.
"About time you showed up, I was beginning to get bored." I say, smirking. Snake rolls his eyes and breaks the bars, letting me out.
I get out of the cell and Snake pulls me into a tight hug. I hug him back instantly, grateful and relieved to see him. We break apart and he smiles at me.
"You never seem to lose your humor, Angel." He says, brushing a piece of hair behind my ear.
"Never, Snake. Never." I say as we run down the hallway, grabbing my weapons as we pass by the table they were on.
"Well, we have to knock out the laser cannon, so let's go knock it out. What do ya say, Angel? Wanna knock first?" He asks as we reach the room to the main reactor.
"Don't mind if I do." I say and kick open the door. Time to kick some Cobra ass.
