The pirate looked at the woman holding a knife to his knock in shock.
"What's the matter 'mate'" she grins evilly as he looks even more confused.
"What the hell happened to you?".
"It's called life" she smirks.
"I have a feeling your not straddling me for fun, although wouldn't mind if you were" he winks as she gives him a sarcastic smile and rolls her eyes.
"No see. I need to go to a place called Arendelle. But-" she grabs his hair bringing his head so that they are but inches apart.
"-I need your ship to get there" she whispers before letting go of his hair.
"You're not having my shi-".
"Oh me and my first mate just want a ride and help from the pirate captain" she smirks as his eyes make their way to her chest then back to her eyes.
"And what do I get in return for my troubles?" he questions raising an eyebrow.
"Well I promise it will be worth your while... You just have to agree first" she smirked. He looks her up and down before licking his lips.
"I have one question".
"Go on".
"If you wanted to speak to me so badly why didn't you just approach me in the tavern?" he questions as his eyes lower to her unbuttoned shirt before once again looking at her face.
"I wasn't going to approach you where you had backup, saw me as a threat or wench. I needed you to follow me so this would be in my terms" she sighs irritated.
"Hm. Fine so just you and me?" he questions cocking his head.
"And Neal" she replies casually.
"Oh brilliant. Whatever but this better be worth my time Swan" he smirks sighing.
"Good". She stands up as does the blue eyed man before she starts walking towards the docks.
"Be on my ship at sunrise Swan".
"Aye, aye Captain" she mocks before disappearing into the night. He looks at the moon shining in the dark sky before running a hand through his tousled hair and turning walking back to the tavern ordering a bottle of rum.
The next morning, he wakes up as sunlight streams through the window. Groggily he stands up grabbing his coat and clothes sparing a glimpse at the busty red head lying in the bed. Shaking his head, he makes his way downstairs, grabbing a red apple and running a hand through his bed hair trying to tame it with no avail. He strolls towards his ship to find the blonde pirate and who he assumed must be Neal. As he walks closer Emma turns and glares at him as he shrugs as if to say 'what?'. She rolls her eyes at him.
"You said we'd be leaving at sunrise!" she exclaims. He smirks at her clicking his tongue.
"No love I said be here at sunrise".
"It's been an hour since then and you weren't here!".
"Aye, because I didn't say i'd be here at sunrise".
"You're a dick!" she growls.
"No love, you got it wrong see... I have a dick" he smirks as she blushes looking flustered. He looks up to the man behind her as he coughs awkwardly.
"Ah right you must be Neal" he smirks.
"Yeah" he replies sticking his hand out. Killian just looks at his outstretched hand before shrugging and making his way up the gangplank.
"Just gonna stand there then Swan?" he questions smirking as he sees the anger behind her eyes.
"Whatever" she mumbles before storming onto the deck growling under her breath about men. Sheepishly Neal follows her onto the ship.
Hook barked orders at their crew getting ready for the four day ride to Arendelle as long as no storms hit them. An hour later after leaving port, Emma walked over to where Killian was standing looking out over the ocean. He turned abruptly as he heard footsteps before sneering as he recognised Emma and turning back to look back out to sea.
"How can I help you Swan?" he asked not sparing a glance.
"I was just wondering how long the trip will be..." she stated looking out at sea. Hook then took his chance and glanced at her seeing her hair flow in the wind.
"Aye, it'll be a few days as long as we don't run into any storms" he replied turning his gaze back to the vast ocean before him.
"Why did you really let me go all those years ago?" she questioned turning to look at him but he didn't look back and kept his eyes focused on the horizon. She took a moment to take in his features, his light stubble and sharp jaw line, she'd be lying if she said he wasn't attractive. He replied but she was to busy admiring.
"W-what?" she asks coming out of her day dream.
"I asked, who are you really Swan?" he questioned turning to look at her this time.
"You can't ask a question when I've just asked one" she muttered.
"My point exactly. I had my reasons" he shrugged. Shaking her head she left and went to the railings looking down at the waves crashing peacefully into the side of the ship.
A few hours later she went down to the room she was to stay in with Neal to find him sleeping because of some light rain. She smiled at his peaceful face, she'd never admit but he is her first love but can't come to accept it just yet.
Suddenly the boat rocked sending her into the doorframe. Shaking her head she stumbled through the narrow passageway and up the steps. she made it onto deck to slip and go tumbling into someone else, pinning the to the mast. She looked up to see worried eyes staring back at her.
"Swan! Get below deck now!" he shouted above the crashing of the waves, the rolling thunder and shouts of men trying to keep the ship steady but she could barely make out what was said. Cold water washed over the deck and she was about to go falling when an arm wrapped around her waist. Killian was holding her whilst holding rope in his hand. Suddenly Emma was thrown into the mast where she grabbed onto the netting wrapped around the wood. She looked to her right to see the figure gone. Looking behind her she saw a pile of leather being thrown by the water off the ship.
"HOOK!" She screamed. Killian gasped before being pulled into the cold icy waters. He tried with his might to get out but the current was keeping him at bay. Emma quickly tied rope around her waist before jumping into the crisp, November waters after the cocky, arrogant Captain...
