Once upon a time there was a girl with beautiful golden hair and emerald eyes. One day a new threat fell upon her land. Her parents sent her away to her evil grandmother's, Cora. She was a mean woman who cared about nothing except power. One day she...
The group flew through the overgrown shrubberry down the narrow path as the shouts and calls to 'stop' could be heard. Suddenly Killians horse stumbled throwing him to the ground hitting his jaw with a thud and crimson liquid seeping out of the gash. He yelped as Emma looked back at the clad of leather tumbling with the loose rocks down the mountainside.
"HOOK!" she screamed frantically as Neal turned back to look with an evil smirk painted on his face.
"Neal STOP! He's falling!" She cried but her pleas fell upon deaf ears. She could taste the salty tears as she lost sight of the cocky pirate amongst the falling rubble sliding down the mountainside. Killians yells carried away in the roaring wind along with the soldiers who were falling with the earsplitting cries of pain. She looked on helplessly as the distance grew and the noise quieted, guilt consuming the blonde as she pictured his face and pleas to be safe. Soon they were long gone with the cold memory sitting at the forefront of her mind and the tears rolling down her pale cheeks.

Hours later Emma sat round a fire staring expressionless into the burning flames that couldn't melt her frozen gaze. Neal sat smirking at the site now no longer having to worry about the one handed pirate.
"Why?" Came the quiet voice jolting the man out of his thoughts.
"W-What?" He stuttered as the question through him of track of his own thoughts.
"Why did we leave him behind" she whispered not taking her eyes of the flames.
"Why didn't we save him?" She repeated tearing her gaze away to look into his own almost. He wanted to shout in frustration at the fact that he was gone but she still asked about him.
"Because he wasn't worth it" he snarled.
"You sick bastard" she answered sharply with betrayal in her eyes before standing up and walking towards the small village.
"Where are you going?" He called after her.
"The tavern... I need a drink" she answered before swiftly walking towards the small village as he cursed under his breath and followed the blonde and grabbing the horse.
They arrived at the tavern and swiftly she order rum as she sat at the bar with her hood up. Neal still outside with the horse. How could uhe say something like that! She thought as she downed the drink to numb the pain of losing yet another person. The door once again opened and she smiled slightly not able to stay mad at him for long. He smiled sheepishly before moving towards her until he was stopped by an entrancing red head with chocolate brown eyes and an award winning smile. She could hear her as they shamelessly flirted with her and the glass in her hand becoming victim to her crush until it broke into pieces in her hand and the whole room turned their attention on her. Growling she stood up and stormed past the oblivious Neal outside to breath. She cried as she sat on a nearby bench in the dark street as she closed her eyes and found electric blue staring back at her.

Once she was calm and her tears had subsided, she walked back into the pub trying to find her 'boyfriend' but could see no sign of the brunet. Deciding to instead ask the barman.
"Ye'h he wen' upstairs an' he's the one with the key, do you wan' the other one darlin'" he smiled warmly with the spare key resting in the palm of his outstretched hand. Smiling and saying a small 'thank you' she made her way up the stairs hesitantly. She heard moaning and cries but thought nothing of it as she neared the room. Smiling softly she took a deep breath and opened the door but nothing would have prepared her for the sight that she was met with. She walked in to see the beautiful ruby red haired girl riding Neal.
"Neal?" She asked in complete shock where all movement stopped and heard his voice.
"E-Emma... It's not what you think I-I swear!" He cried as he pushed off the red head and pulled on his clothes.
"You dickhead" she seethed before flinching as Neal made to go to grab her.
"Emma please I love you! Don't you love me?" He pleaded with her.
"I loved you" she said bitterly before promptly storming out of the room with Neal half clothed following her out.
"I'm sorry let's talk about this" he begged before she spun around and let her hand collide with the side of his face.
"I will kill you if I ever see you again. I am not bluffing" she growled before exiting and this time... He made no move to stop her. She quickly saddled the horse and galloped of as the wind and rain pounded against her skin. She rode for hours until her adreneline faded and she made it to the base of the mountain they'd spent trekking up. She looked at the extent before letting the dam break and her tears came rushing out. She felt betrayed and alone. Her vision was blurred until she abruptly stopped and wiped her red, puffy eyes as she spotted a silver chain and leather. Quickly standing up she stumbled towards the object that was reflecting the dim glow of the moonlight and gasped as she saw the red liquid and messy black hair...
"Killian..." she whispered into the stillness of the night and the crisp wind sending shivers down her spine as she recognised the pirate...
