Mother's Day poem (late)

But was actually made on mothers day...

My heart grows weary

When I can't see your face

But even though we aren't together

No one will take your place

You brought me into this world

With a nice warm heart

Loving you is my addiction

I've loved you from the start

And although I don't see you everyday

Whenever you think of me always remember I'm a phone call away

What was left in the past

Will never leave my mind

One word to describe you is

You are oh so kind

You tried to teach me right from wrong

But I didn't seem to care

Now all I want to do is take it back

And start all over there

So as I say goodbye, miles and miles away

What was once a heart, totally broke in a familiar Walmart that day.

You guys might not understand this.. I was separated from my mother at age 8 at a Walmart, I watched her get put into a cop car and driven away from me... I didn't see her for 2 years.. And when I did, I never wanted to leave her.

So that's a little back up information.. Not the whole story. But I just wanted you guys to understand the poem (: thanks for reading! Toodles!
