Ally's POV

When me and Trish came to cafeteria, someone motioned for us to come over. When we got closer, I saw that Austin was sitting on the table with his friend, which I assumed was Dez, like Trish told me a couple days ago. So, we came and sat with the guys. And now, here we are.

We're just keeping casual converstation up, and just talking. Right now we're talking about (or actually Dez and Trish are arguing) who is better best friend, Trish for me or Dez for Austin.

"I'm definitely better friend for Ally."

"But I'm better BEST friend for Austin. And I'd bet I would be to Ally too." Dez argues back. Austin chuckles at this, but I glare at him causing him to stop.

"So now you're Ally's best friend too?"

"Well no, but I could be."

"No you couldn't."

"I'm still better friend."

"And why would you say that?"

"Cause I am."

"And what's the reason in it?"

"Austin has told me that it's like in my head would be a million different guys, so that makes me have a best friend army."

"Okay that's it!" I say slamming my hands on the table, grabbing few peoples attention. "You guys, this is not necessary and a stupid reason to argue about! Trish, we just met Dez and you're already arguing with him! And Dez, that army thing doesn't even make sence! Neither this argument, so just shut up!" I yell sitting down. Everybody in the cafeteria are looking at me. I widen my eyes seeing all those people staring at me. I get out of my seat and run away from cafeteria.

I find an empty staircase and sit down on one of the steps. I put my head in my hands, thinking about what just happened. I can't believe I did that...

I sit there breathing heavily, until I felt someone's presence next to me. I shot my head up meeting Austin's brown eyes.

"You okay?" Austin asks. I nod and smile at him.

"Ally... What you said in-"

"I know. I'm such an awful person." I sigh and put my head in my hands again.

"You're not an awful person. I just wanted to ask you where all that came from..." Austin tells me quietly.

"I don't know... I never had such a outburst before."

Austin's POV

I admit, I was a bit shocked the way she yelled, but I kinda understand. I mean, Trish and Dez were arguing over probably the stupidest thing ever, so if Ally didn't gonna say something, I would've.

"I know that you didn't mean to shout at them like that. I know that this was just a one time thing, cause you're so sweet and caring. I haven't known you for long, but I know what I'm talking about." Okay, WRONG! I have known her. A few years. I always saw her like this, sweet and caring. But I wouldn't ever never ever never tell Ally, cause she would think that I'm some kind of freak. And I definitely wouldn't want that.

I feel two hands wrap around my waist. I'm a bit shocked, but I still wrap my hands around her petite form.

Ally's POV

We sit there, hugging for like, what seems like forever. But I don't mind. Slowly we release each other. Then I lean my head on his shoulder.

"Thanks Austin." I say so quietly, that I'm surprised he even heard that.

"For what?"

"For making me feel better. It's so sweet of you taking care of me even though you've known me only for two days." I feel that Austin straightens his head, which I only realize now that it was on mine's.

"Austin, is everything okay?" I ask looking at him.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He stands up. "I'm gonna head back to cafeteria. Come back when you feel like it." He smiles and then leaves. I sigh and stand up myself. I make my way back to cafeteria and sit back down beside Austin.

"I'm really sorry guys, that I yelled at you. I don't know what came over me." I say to Trish and Dez. They smile at me.

"It's okay, Ally. We understand you." Dez says making me feel instantly better. Trish nods agreeing. I smile and go back to eating. We chat for a while, until one subject really catches my attention.

"Y'know Ally," Dez starts pointing me with his apple. "I'm really glad you ran into Austin the other day, cause he's been smiling and laughing, instead of being all depressed."

"Aww, did I really do that?" I ask smiling.

"Yeah! Austin haven't stopped talking about you since he- OW!" Dez gets cut off, what I'm guessing is, by Austin's foot. I blush, but I cover it up by giggling.

"Same with Ally, she's been talking about Austin non-stop." Trish says giggling.

"Today is a great weather, don't you think?" I say quickly trying to get Trish to stop. She just had to say that, didn't she?!

"Ally, don't change the subject!" Trish says loudly. "Y'know, I personally think you have a crush on Aus-"

"Okay, I'm gonna go now!" I yell cutting Trish off and standing up. I sprint out of the cafeteria going outside.

I sit under a tree, and soon Trish sits by me.

"I can't believe you embarrassed me like that!" I yell at Trish. "That was really akward, and now Austin and Dez probably think I'm a total idiot!"

Trish just laughs at me in respond. I furrow my eyebrows at her.

"You should've been there after you ran away! You should've seen Austin face! It was all flushed in crimson with a stupid smile on his face! It was hilarious! And then Dez was like 'You like her, don't ya, loverboy?' but I didn't hear his response cause I was laughing my head off at him!" Trish starts laughing again. A smile finds itself on my face, which I really don't know about, cause I clearly don't like Austin like that... Right? Yes, right!

"Oh my gosh! You too! You guys are killing me with your love!" Trish gets out struggling with laughter.

"Love, what love?" Trish's laughter dies down, she's still chuckleling, though.

"You don't see it?" she asks shocked, while I just shake my head 'no.'

"You will eventually." She smirks and gets up. I think her words, but I just don't get them. I shrug and get up too. I walk back to the building to finish the day.

At the end of the day

I put my books in my locker, ready to head home. I turn around and see Austin jogging over me. I wave at him and he smiles back.

"Hey Austin! What's up?" I ask once Austin reaches to me.

"The sky is up." he smirks at me. I smile and playfully nudge him.

"So, what brings you to me?" I take my bag off the ground and lift it over my head.

"I was wondering, if you want me to walk you home?" he smiles sheepisly at me.

"I wouldn't mind some company." I respond and he takes my hand and starts to walk out of the school. I smile looking at him, but he doesn't notice.
