Chapter 3

Austin's POV

I'm in Dez's room pacing back and forth trying to think about this... situation. Dez is sitting on his bed his head in his hands.

"What do you mean it's her?" Dez asks looking at me.

"I mean, it's her!" I nearly shout. I'm still trying to take it all in.

"How do you know it's her? You said you didn't know what she looked like" Dez says with a same tone.

"I don't know!" I yell throwing my hands in the air. "I don't know how or why, but when she said her name and smiled at me it all clicked in my head."

"What did you do after you knew it was her? Were you like 'Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Austin! Also, I don't know how I know, but I know you're the girl I've-"

"Well of course not. That would be stupid" I say, cutting him off.

"Well, what did you do then?"

"I ran away" I say just above whisper.

"Well that's not stupid at all!" Dez shouts at me sarcastically.

"I panicked! I didn't know what to do!" I sit beside Dez on his bed.

"You should talk to her" Dez suggests softly.

"I don't know, Dez. I might be in lock and just stare at her dumbly or run away again." It was true. I mean what do you say to this girl who has just met you, while you've known her for a quite awhile.

"I know it's probably gonna be hard, but you do want to get to know her, right?" Dez asks.

"Well... Yeah, kinda" I admit.

"Then I know you're gonna figure it out." Dez says before he smiles at me and then heads out the door, leaving me in my own thoughts.

Guess I'll just have to figure something out...

Next day

Ally's POV

I haven't stop thinking about Austin since yesterday after he ran off. I even saw a dream about him. I just want to know why he ran away. I mean, did I do something wrong, that caused him to flee. I had no idea.

But I planned that I would go to school, find Austin, and apologize to him for whatever I did. So, I get up and do my morning routine.

I walk inside the school doors still getting few stares. I'm really uncomfortable now. So I quickly sprint away from them and try to find Trish.

I see her at her locker and I jog over to her. She sees me and waves and I smile back.

"Hey Ally" she greets me.

"Hi Trish. Look, you can alrady go to class, I have to do something really quick" I explain to her.

"Got it. What are you gonna do?" Trish asks turning to me.

"Oh, I have to apologize from Austin, because yesterday I-" Trish cuts me off.

"Wait... Austin? As in Austin Moon?" she asks slowly.

"Well, he didn't tell me his last name, but I assume he is the same guy" I say cheerfully. I start to walk away, but Trish stops me by grabbing my wrist. I turn to her and she looks at me in shock.

"What do you mean by 'have to apologize from Austin?' Did you talk to him?" she asks me like it's weird that people talk with other people.

"Yeah I did. I bumped into him yesterday and we exchanged a few words. But then he ran away from me, so I'm gonna go apologize from him for whatever I did" I say turning around again. Trish stops me again.
