It's November 11th, Jack's birthday. You and Jack are waiting for your college acceptance letters, (assuming that you'll both get in) You both applied to Harvard University and Y/S/C- your state's college- just in case. They said that you should be expecting the letters today. But, knowing that you guys are both anxious for that letter, you guys decide to do something more subtle, like the movies or something, rather than throwing a party. It's 8am and you're up because you have to drop your sister off at school. (Because you decided not to go to school since it's Jack's birthday. And your mom made you because she was running late for work.) After you dropped your sister off at preschool, you head back to your house.
When you get home, you decide to text your very best friend in the whole wide world..... Jack. (Yes, I know, I'm sorry, but in this story, you guys are just friends) The text read:
Happy birthday to my best friend!!!!!! Even though we argue about anything, you always find a way to make it up to me..... even if you know I'm wrong. I can never tell anyone my secrets accept for you. You always helped me get over a hard break-up. And I'd do the same when it comes to you because you are my BEST FRIEND!!!!! We've dealt with other friends before, most were fake. But you always said you would "Stick Around" (hahaha, you see what I did there? Lol comment if you know) You are my best friend and always will be my best friend, because if you ever stop, I will be forced to kill you, because you know too much lol. Well long story short, you are my best friend in the whole wide world! I love you Jack!!!
After you sent the text, he automatically read it. While you were waiting until he read the whole thing, you go on Instagram. ( Btw, if you want to follow me on Instagram, It's Thejackexperiment lol I will start posting on it again) You look at the photo Jack tagged you in..... He posted the picture just now.... it was a screen shot of the text you sent him.... with a caption that said, " My best friend is my life! I love you! Thanks!" You smiled when you read it because he means the world to you.
*2 Hours later*
You heard a knock at the door... when you answer, you see Jack crying.... "Y/N the college letters came in... I...." Once you heard him stutter those words you automatically took your letter out of his hand. ( he has your letter bc he is so impatient that he opened you letter for you lol) You got into Y/S/C but you didn't get into Harvard...... Your eyes automatically tear up.... you grab his letter and saw that he got into both.... You burst out into tears and hug him as tight as you can..... He whispers something in your ear.... he says, "what do I do?.....Where do I go?..... Do I stay or leave?...."When you hear him you back up and say, "Jack I love you, you mean the world to me.... I can't let you go but I can't make you stay..... I want you to go and fulfill your dreams..... but I....I need y-you." You look at him in his eyes and say... "p-please d-don't leave me..... but don't s-stay......"
