The next day Laylah slips on a skirt and and tank top. Once she goes to school people look at her and whisper to their friends. Then during class a note gets passed to her. It says "Whore" Laylah holds back her tears and throws the paper away. After class the three girls go up to her and shove her and call her a slut. Laylah screams out "ITS NOT MY FAULT I HAD A CRAZY DAD THAT RAPED ME!!!"
That only made things worse. The name calling got worse. Laylah started to believe all the nasty things said to her and started going through depression. Her mom had no idea.
