The title is strange, but to me it's metaphorical. It basically means that... Actually, I'll explain at the end of the chapter, because I don't want to give anything away!! So... On to the chapter!

Troys POV.

I'm engaged! I'm going to get married! I'm... Engaged. A warm shiver of blood ran down my veins, the most satisfying feeling for me right now it told me that I was excited, happy, nervous, overwhelmed with happiness and shocked... All at the same time! I loved it!

I felt so damn lucky to have someone like Ty. It's like getting married to my best friend, it's going to be perfect and I can't wait! The best day of my life... I hope its perfect! I checked the cubords for food, none. Huffing, I got dressed and slipped on my shoes; there's time to shower later.

"Ty!!?" I shouted it the stairs.

"Yeah?" He yelled back from the bedroom, his voice was rough, sexy. His sleepy voice, I like to call it. "I'm popping out to shops a sec. We got no food!" I pulled a pouty face even though I knew he could not see me pulling the face.

"I'll come with if you want, just gotta get up and dressed." He asked, I laughed a little at his cute protectiveness. He's so caring, "nah, I'm good. Stay in bed for a bit, I'll be back in a sec." I went to walk out the door when Ty came up behind me and spun my unexpecting self and kissed me hard on the lips.
"Wow..." I exclaimed, surprised happily.
"What, never know when the last kiss will be." I smiled and kissed his cheek softly.

Quickly jumping in to the cold car, I checked out my messy hair in the half-iced mirror and shrugged. Good enough, I thought. I didn't really care how I looked, I'm not trying to impress anyone, I have all I need. By that, I mean I have a lovely home, I have my perfect fiancé Ty, a successful YouTube channel, I've started out in more music production. I have all that I need in my life.

Turning the keys, the car jumped. Roaring to life, I pushed my foot down lightly and the car sprung forwards ready to go. Driving, I checked my mirrors for oncoming traffic and out of place hairs, and put on some music, I sung along to all of my favorite songs and bobbed my head lightly to the beat, being extra careful to not crash; the human eye is terrible at judging distance, and I wasn't about to take that risk.

Walking into the shop, I grabbed what I wanted, needed and a few extras, sticking to the growing list in my head. So far I'm thinking,

Eggs, milk, butter. Soda, cereal, pancakes and bread. I need fruit, crisps, chips. Ummm... Chocolate, sweet things, pastry's, cheesecake, jam, ice cream, pancake toppers...

I mostly just grabbed stuff as I walked around the shop full of early risers, mist of them walked around like zombies, unable to move their tired limbs or vampires afraid of the morning sun as it beamed down, ready to burn them into ashes. (Or just give them sunburn, either way works fine). I aimlessly walked around picking up things that may, or may not, even be eaten by the two of us. Then again, we do go through a lot of food in a week so maybe...

As I got to the end of my little supermarket spree, I strolled over to the till to pay for my thing's. "How can I help you?" The women said. Obviously scan my stuff... I thought to myself.

"Just wanna pay for this please". I replied politely. The woman nodded as if she had no clue what she was doing and slowly scanned, sentimentally staring at my items, causing her to go excruciatingly snail paced. Who even pays her? I thought to myself, how does she get away with being so slow? I could hear the brain numbing sound of chewing coming from the cashier, she was chewing her gum so loudly, half the shop could hear it. She blew out a huge pink bubble and waited for it to pop. Spit sprayed at my face and I tried to stay calm because the girl mat not have realized how irritating she was.

"Have you got a savings card?" She asked. I shook my head.

"Cash or by card?" Her voice was so monotone and boring, I couldn't stand it. I quickly grabbed my card to pay and walked away as quickly as possible. Happy to be out of that store...

I climbed into the little car and started its engine I didn't turn the music on, I enjoyed the quiet and the rattle of the engine itself. I drove slowly out of the huge car park and on to the road. I sped up slightly, keeping under the speed limit. Nearing the round about, I slowed down and started to turn right.

Suddenly, out of no where a black car rammed into the side of mine. My whole body smashed sideways, head taking most of the blow. I tried to shield myself with my arms. Airbags blew up and smashed into my face and my seatbelt was stiff, not allowing me to move. My entire body was numb. I tried as best I could to get into the fetal position, but it was tricky in the small space. My car slid sideways and I couldn't control it. I found myself to be spinning around as the roof of the car dented and crunched under the impact of the road as I spun.

I smashed my head into the glass in front of me, taking most of the impact to my forehead. Black. Everything faded out slowly, like in a movie... But not a good one. I tried to scream, but instead of making the noise, my insides screamed in searing pain. Slowly, I saw less, and the all at once nothing as the car skidded on to the grass.

Ty's POV.

Singing and dancing to a new song on the radio, I awaited Troye's presence and his pleasant calm, sweet voice to come through the door to join me in my crazy little dance. But he didn't.

I think I've called him about 7 times now but still no answer at all. Where are you? Is he okay? What should I do?
*phone noise*
Finally! I check my phone, unknown number? What?

"Hello?" I slowly say.

"Is this Mr. Tyler Oakley?

"This is him, yes. What's going on?"

"Well, sir. We have some terrible news. We got your number from a young mans phone before it shut down. He has blue eyes and wearing black clothing. Big lips and a skinny fre. Do you know who this is?"

Pausing, I thought it could be Troye. No. I said it anyway.

"I think your looking at Troye. Troye sivan." I stuttered slightly. "He... w-we are engaged."

"I'm so sorry sir, but Troye has been in an... Accident." She said 'accident' like she was unsure. What was going on?

"A roadside accident has taken place within the hour. I am afraid that Troye needs immediate medical attention, my team has called an emergency air ambulance to take him to the hospital due to a suspected severe condition and maybe some internal bleeding."

Time slowed down. Then stopped. I felt my heart tear with the news that I was receiving. Why Troye? Why today? Who did this and why? Is he okay? Will he survive? What's wrong with him? Time started moving again. "Where is he going?" I said slowly, tears staining my cheeks.

"Extreme injury and illnesses hospital. Just off the coast." She told me with a sad expression in her voice.
I hung up, grabbed my coat and ran to the door. "Fuck!" I screamed. I cried and screamed as the heartache and pain in my stomach grew bigger and bigger. Why Troye? Me? Us!? Why! I demanded an answer but no one could give me one.
