Dylan

AB 1398 33th day of spring

"Fuck my life you know" said Dylan "I know bro" Replied Rhys. It was a bright sunny day, a typical day for spring. Both were resting under an oak tree, just outside of Hordeford. Dylan was taller than Rhys but was thinner than him, with blonde short hair he was your average teenager and more of a rebel to society. Rhys was just shorter than Dylan but he had more muscle to him. He had dark hair with a near shaved sides and short hair on top. They have both known each over since they were young kids, defending each other against the hunger and toughness that littered the poverty district of Hordeford. Rhys has only a grandfather left in his family while Dylan is an Orphan, abandoned as a baby by his family for unknown reasons. Both have bonded to each other like they were they're brother, looking out for each other and always watching each other's back, Trust in loyalty was all they had but was all they needed from each other. Dylan closed his eyes once again; the sound of birds singing and the wind from the west calmed him from all the troubles from everyday life. Dylan was rudely interrupted by the voice of someone. "Dylan! Get up you piece of shit!" Hayden shouted, he stomped his right foot into Dylan's gut. "Fffuuuccckkk!" yelled Dylan, he got up and bear tackled him to the ground. "Sup Rhys" said Hayden "Morning Hayden, what brings you and your brother here?" "It's a Sunday so the church is giving food to those who attend so I went to get you and Dylan." Rhys looked around the green plains "yeah might as well, how 'bout you?" Dylan got off of Hayden and began stomping on his gut "Yeah whatever." Both Jayden and Hayden are real brothers; Jayden is the tall muscular brother that is tough and a jerk most times while his brother Hayden is small and skinny, but what he lacks in strength he makes up with agility and cunningness. Dylan looked out towards the town and the view of a girl in a thin dress, he saw someone that meant the world to him, the reason he gets up in the morning. He smiled "Kate" he said, she waved her right hand as high as she could towards him. He waved back, before Jayden grabbed him around his ribs, lifted him and threw him to the ground in a matter of seconds. He dazed for several seconds; looking at the ground below him. Then a soft hand lifted him up, and they sat beside each other under the shade of the tree; hand in hand, the wind brushed both of their hair to the left, the pair looked out towards Hordeford. "You know I love you right" said Dylan. she blushed "and you know I love you more" she replied. "Could I ask you something Kate?" "And what is that you need to ask?" "could you hum that song again, the one that I like" "You mean the Winhelm betrothal?" "Yes that one" "If you insist" she moved Dylan's head softly onto her lap; her hand delinquently touching his head in a circular manner. She began to hum the soft song of The Winhelm betrothal; it sounded familiar towards a Viking song, but the sound was as quiet as the wind; similar to a bedtime song that a mother would sing to her children as they drift off into they're dreamful sleep. The song felt like it was speaking of a tale between two lovers, although events were tarring them apart. Both felt they were destined to be together till the end of death and time. The song continued for several minutes, the song began to increase in momentum until it slowed down into its previous, quiet stage. It repeated itself in that manner for four to five times or as much as a person could sing it for. By the end she smiles once more as Dylan picked a white rose which he found and fitted it into her hair. She kissed him on the lips, sadly the moment was rudely interrupted by Hayden and Jayden. "Boring" Jayden said, "come on, by the time youse finish smooching, all the food will be gone!" Hayden protested. Hayden nodded towards Jayden, who understood the gesture. Jayden grabbed Dylan by the shirt and tossed him out onto the field. He landed with a thud and stumbled for a metre. Dylan got up and shook of the dirt without a care in the world. "Come on lets go before the food is gone" He said
