Daspin
AB 1390 48th of Autumn
The day was as pleasant as it could be of a day. Daspin was playing with Dylan, Rhys, Blake, Adrian and Shaun. Fighting hand to hand with sticks, in the streets as any child would do. They fought through the streets jabbing each other, knocking past Anthony; his glasses and book fell to the floor as he shouted at them.
Daspin was beginning to lose the fight as he took several blows to the chest and legs, Daspin knew that he was faster than the rest of them as he bolted straight through the main central road leading out of Hordeford. Dylan, Blake Shaun and Adrian tried to keep up with him but Daspin dodged and weaved through the crowd of people.
Dylan tried to do the same, he passed an elderly man then a romantic couple, then two posh women, Dylan couldn't resist glimpsing back at their large breast as he ran past. Dylan didn't notice that he was running into another boy until it was to late. He slammed into the side causing him and the boy to stumble to the ground.
Dylan got back up and dusted himself off, he noticed that he was talking to a girl, a girl with dark black hair. He noticed that she was breathing heavily and must have been upset. fearing that he must have done something wrong he immediately thought that apologize.
"Ah... Sorry" He said
It didn't seem to bother her as she shook her head "I could have handled it, but thank you for helping me, my... my name is Katelyn"
Dylan went red as he looked at her, he tried to say something as he stuttered "Oh Ah Dylan.... Dylan Yäger"
"Holluck... Katelyn Holluck"
Daspin not knowing that Dylan had lost track of him snickered at the thought of winning only to stumble across the other four boys.
Before Daspin could say anything they each took turns slapping his face, "Remember the rules of the game Daspin. Only gonna tell you once you can't run from us as it is the rules." Blake spoke, in a friendly and fondly matter.
"Well last man standing isn't fun for me I can't handle it." Daspin looked down at the world
"Well Daspin keep fleeing and well make you play with the girls cause they don't fight they run away, real men stay and fight." Rhys was told that by his grandfather, who was a man that was quiet sexist.
"Hey man, relax we all flee sometimes Daspin but sometimes you need to be as brave as anyone else, cause that way you will not be afraid to stand up for yourself" Shaun said it as if it was a quote.
"What game should we play next, because I am done chasing a runner like you, what about we poke fun at the girls, especially those two that I can't stand". Adrian said
"Yeah I'm up for that, anyone else up for it? Shaun? Rhys? Daspin?"
They all agreed, seeming that they couldn't think of anything else to do.
"DASPIN!" A loud voice shouted over the usual voices of the market.
"That's my dad got to go guys see ya later" Daspin said as he dashed into the crowd.
Daspin's father was waiting for him on the other side, he had a small wooden horse drawn wagon made of the basic oak from the surrounding trees.
"Daspin come with me I need you for something. Quit playing with your friends and climb on"
"Yes farther" he said hesitantly
"where are we going Father?'
"Can I leave it a secret?" His Father questioned
